Hmm... I would say I first started watching anime when I was 4 years old like Sailor Moon and Dragon Ball. But I didn't know they were anime I just considered them cartoons on cartoon network when i was a kid. Then I started watch more because of my babysitter's grandaughter. She was older than me so she had control over the Tv. So I would also start watching Pokemon, digimon, cardcaptors, inuyasha, yuyu haukusho, reroni kenshin, ranma 1/2, Angelic Layer, Fushigi yuugi. haha I would get nervouse whenever I saw nudity in anime.
And I well started to read manga when i was 9. I think my first manga was Saint Tail.  |

i was 10 or 11, i think. my friend told me about death note, and i enjoyed it a lot, so that's what got me into anime.
but when i was a little younger, i had a kingdom hearts manga. i got it because i had a kingdom hearts game. i didn't really know it was manga, i just thought it was a comic with disney characters.

Hmm...let's see; I was 7 when I first was introduced to Speed Racer, Star Blazers, and Battle of the Planets, but of course I didn't know then that they actually were anime. I was 22 when I first watched Project A-ko, which was the first time I'd watched Japanese animation knowing that it was Japanese animation.

must've been about 11 or so. watching shows like DBZ and Gundam Wing on CN, but i only realized that this was classed as anime afew years later. Once i got to about 16 i stopped watching anime all together. its only in the last year that iv gotten back into it(alot of catching up to do)and iv only just started reading manga this year.

When I was 10 or so. Back then it was hard to get your hands on it or you had to know someone who did fansubs or awful fandubs. Also living in the middle of nowhere meant that maybe one other person in town knew what hell a Sailor Moon or Utena was.
