13 it was after i got beat up badly over something for no reason for the first time at a summer camp because i was different and nice to people... so i came back home as a empty shell of myself i had no feelings left... i could not smile even if i tried too so i turned on my new laptop and surfed youtube and saw Ouran Highschool Host Club so i clicked on it and waited for it to load then i started watching it... And for the first time in months i smiled and then started to burst out lughing! my family was surprised that i was laughing and even i was surprised! so i continued to watch anime since i found it brought my smile and feelings back, And so i continued to watch it and now i am 16 years old. The End.

since 6th grade started when i got a manga mania from my dad it was just by chance (he got it from work) , loved studio ghibli befor that and now i think 8 years atleast. |

Since I was probably about 4. I was introduced very early in to anime/manga since my grandmother was born and raised from Japan. She visits a couple of times every year and would always bring me Pokemon or Dragonball stuff back from Japan.

i think i was 7 when pokemon got me hooked, but the first real anime i liked was dragonball, that aired when i was 10, so its been wonderful 12 years so far^^

I was 5 and now I'm 28. It was Fatal Fury the Motion Picture, Dragon Ball, and Akira. I watched them non-stop until I found manga.

Freshman year of Highschool I learned what anime was and become a big anime addict!
In Sophomore year I became familiar with Manga and would read it, but it never really caught on till Senior year when I really explored it and became a super addict to manga!

When did Toonami start? Though I didn't know "Anime" was a thing until I was 14 and Adult Swim premiered with InuYasha and Yu Yu Hakusho
