XD I don't know... like you said it's not everyone's cup of tea. these type of shows are hit or miss each epiosde and I will be honest I think ep 4 is the best so far but if you want plot or character development then don't bother

This is a kind of comedy most people won't get right away, but is well worth the effort once you do. Lucky Star was my first plunge into this kind of pure japanese comedy, but I got it after 18 episodes or so. Of course I had to rewatch the whole series for it all to make sense, like the scene opening to "he sure was smelly" was used throughout the series. That's just one example. Nichijou ep 4 especially the exchange between Yuko and Mai was a very straight forward screwing with Yuko's mind scenario. Mai would say something negative about Yuko then a few seconds later turn it into something flattering then dump on Yuko again. It was funny mostly because it was a total mind fuck that Yuko just didn't get. Have you ever strung along a slow person just because you can? It's fun when done right.

I never expected Mohawk guy to get his own segment and the professor/sakamoto are just a dubious team of trouble makers lol
