I love Netflix. But sometimes I hate it......like when they remove some of movies that were on stream. Now you can only see it on DVD. WHY!!!!!!

Believe me Netflix would LOVE to stream anything and everything. The problem is that many of the studios are afraid of this form of distribution. They think it will cut into DVD sales and watching things in real time. For me it works the other way, I won't buy a series on DVD if I haven't seen it. If I love it enough, then I will invest the money to have it in hard copy so that I can rewatch even if the licensing rights get taken away from Netflix. But heck, I don't understand why recording studios don't license music for use on TV shows and DVDs at a cut rate price. Ten years from now, when I play my DVD's for my child they will suddenly hear a cool song, that has been forgotten and might consider buying it. But I'm not an executive, so my opinions of marketing strategy don't cut it.

I don't see many people hating Netflix, they just wouldn't use the the service. Wish they'd have better Linux support though. I think they're a pretty good service that surprisingly hasn't tapped more into social integration. These days if it's available on Netflix you could download it via a torrent in equivalent or higher quality to watch on whatever device you want with whichever media player and settings you desire.

I think they rotate movies in and out to keep the list looking fresh. My sister wanted to watch the old Hairspray movie which was on instant queue several months ago but when I went to go find it for her a few weeks ago it was DVD only.

Personally I love netflix. Streaming on my iPHONE, laptop, Wii, xbox360 and I get a dvd whenever I remember to send them back in! All for only $8.99 a month!

Netflix is awesome. And I don't mind paying the monthly subscription because unlike crunchyroll, I'm going to get to see exactly what I want to see...

Netflix is pretty cool. I haven't tried streaming anything yet and my dad always orders bad movies most of the time...
