Are you happy with your skin?
Posted 3/25/11
Do you like your skin? I.e is it healthy, clear, good tone to it?
Also what can you do to improve your skin?
Do you have skin problems such as eczema?

I think mine is pretty good, its got a nice sort of honey/creamy tone to it and I hardly get spots. I drink water by the liter and exercise. Exercise is key, because as you sweat it comes out of your pores and takes any blockage with it. Manuka Honey, it is absolute miracle worker btw I suggest buying some like right now. Its the only skin product I need, a moisturizer with manuka honey extracts and the honey itself to eat. I get occasional rashes and allergic reactions but when I use manuka it disappears the next day

I LOVE my skin, I don't really exercise, and I don't remember the last time I saw healthy food, so I get the occasional pimple, but other than that, I don't have marks, I don't have discoloration and my skin color, is reddish yellow (half black half white) and I couldn't be more pleased with it. I remember when I was 14-16 My skin was the spawn of the devil, pimples, hyper-pigmentation and all that horrible puberty induced stuff, so anything better than that is perfect for me.

I like my skin mostly. I have a couple scars that I wish I didn't have, but otherwise it's good.

I have a fair complexion to my skin and it doesn't blemish that easily. I'm proud since I have dark hair and pale/fair skin. I usually use body wash with moisturizing beads in them to really help it every now and again.

I don't have an allergic reaction to anything but yearly pollen. So my skin doesn't get irritated or rashed, I'd say I'm very comfortable with my skin.

Mine has always been good to me, I'm Italian and everything my family and I eat is made from scratch with fresh ingredients which is what I thank for my glowing skin.

Foods that keep me looking good:

Olive Oil
Oily fish such as salmon
Lemons
Lettuce
Spinach

also as a dedicated martial artist I sweat gallons every day I have to agree with exercise, you can't go wrong when your sweat pushes out the bad stuff in your skin. I'm radiant all the time, except when I'm sick. Drinking water regularly is also vital if you want nicer skin. Don't listen to the magazines, get in the sun! It helps absorb vitamin D needed for good skin and bones, just be sensible and wear sun screen. You'll also get a nice 2 shades darker over time without over-doing it and burning. :)

When I shave I get those annoying bumps, but that happens to everyone who shaves though.

My skin is alright, I'm quite happy with it. The only problem I have is dry skin during the winter. =____=;
HAAATE IT. I go through moisturizers real fast. Now that spring is coming, I can feel the dryness going away though. ^__^

Nope.. My skin is really dry and I have KP on my arms and legs. All I can do is moisturize a few times a day, but if I stop for just 1 day it becomes really dry again.

Theres no real cure for KP.. it comes and goes / never dissapears completly though. Not really that noticeable from a distance anyway.
