Ok, so over the years of being drawn in and constantly watching anime I have seen things go from VHS to EXPENSIVE 2 episode DVDs to reasonable DVDs and even now Blu-ray.

Though the most surprising to me has been older series that I thought to be finished and no new episodes coming out have suddenly sprouted new stuff in the past couple years.

Strangely enough it was Netflix today that led me to my multiple discoveries. I just finished watching a newer series that I LOVED, Sekirei, and soon after was recommended one of the 2 new Slayers Seasons! Now I've been a HUGE Slayers fan for years and own, what I thought was, the complete collection until I saw this!

So I figured I'd go back into my hardcore habits and start downloading and watching fansubs, non-US licensed series of course, and stumbled upon new Ah! My Goddess and even a NEW RANMA 1/2 SHORT!!

Any of the other, yea I know we're the minority, old dogs around here noticing other what we thought to be long over series suddenly becoming resurrected?

And for all you younger generation if you haven't seen any of these older anime you should really check into it and see where shows like Naruto get their roots from, ok Naruto's creator got his inspiration from Dragon Ball, but Ranma to me is the pivotal comedy action anime!

The problem is getting "some" of these younger/newer generation of anime watcher to actually go watch any of the old stuff. Many I've found to be quite simple-minded and refuse to view anything that isn't all flashy with color and a plot that is laughable to us whom have seen it done 10years before.

Yawara was 100 times better than Ranma 1/2 at that Japan at the time their both released agree with that with Yawara having double the fans then what Ranma 1/2 had. Yet it was ranma 1/2 that people out side of Japan knows.. Talk about a big fail.. Not that I am complaining to much.. I do have the Ranma1/2 box set after all. I just agree with Japan in the fact I see Yawara as the better anime by far.

Ass for old anime that should get there hands into the making, I go with Angel Densetsu that was a great manga.. and the short ova was good.

I also like to see some more Madbull34 but then that is a little to much for people to handle.... Depicts New York as a sees pool of filth, drugs, prostitution, and murder.
Even if I think they nailed NY dead on.. Being From New York my self.!

Some things are making small comebacks but I doubt we'll see much more than we already have return. DBZ is probably the biggest comeback since the whole series got redone. It would be great if more seasons of Slayers was created though since theres a lot of story arcs that never made it to anime.

I would sell my left nut for a re-release of sailor moon fully uncut whit the last season "sailor stars" and Card Captor Sakura On blu ray at a no withdrawal of life savings payment "it cost 1400 us dollars with out tax and shipping". Hell a re-release like dark said of ranama 1 1/2 would be great as well. I only have the vhs tapes I got used a block buster back in the day.

I just remembered something that I've been wanting to see more of and should make a comeback and that is Ghost in the Shell. That is a very interesting series. I wonder if the maker Shiro Masamune is even working on anything right now.

I'd like to see Armitage III get a proper series in the modern day it was a great OVA and i loved the movies they made from it too. Battle Angel Alita would be good too the Last Order manga storyline was great and an anime based on it would be brilliant.

I would *love* to see more Ghost in the Shell SAC and Juuni Kokkuki - we were promised more of the latter that never ever materialised, a real shame.
