I didn't want the plug in adapter piece, so I got a whole new Wii Controller. Those f'ing things are close to $40. I don't see what the damn need is for that controller with this game.

Also, the three hour intro to the game is a bit much. I just want to adventure already, and it stops you every two minutes for some break away story or lesson.

I will buy the game, I heard from my friend that it's a new kind of way to play it. Link imitate each movement we control. And i also played twilight princess, i liked it, but i rather wind waker.

i really enjoyed all the zelda games, especially OoT and Twilight princess, but skyward sword surprisingly disappointed me a little, it bugged me that Fi (the servant of the goddess) sounded like a little girl talking into a T-pain microphone, the weapons and items you obtain in different dungeons were certainly unique but at the same time kind of boring to use, eg: the beatle. the graphics were fine, music was okay also, but the one big thing that stopped me from playing through the whole game was the motion controls, im not saying they were bad, but i think nintendo should have offered standard controller, its not my idea of fun to be swinging around a wii-mote in my living room on a relaxing night, i much prefer to sit on my couch and just play.

I bought the limited edition with the golden controller.
God I do not regret this, it was amazing.
Almost finished the game, I have no words for it.
As soon as I started playing, I got lost in it.

Best game in the series........No, really, I mean it, I think this game even surpasses Twilight Princess, AND I F%&KING LOVE THAT GAME!
Yes, Skyward Sword may've made some changes to the formula, but unlike a Zelda II or a--

...yeah; it all paid off! I would say more, but really, you must play this game for yourself, it's AMAZING!

I like Skyward Sword. This game got me hooked the day it came out and I would spend 9 hours playing it non-stop (I feel dumb for doing that now that I realize it). The story line was great, the game graphics were amazing, (orchestral) music was epic, the fact that I can be able to sit on furniture, throw stuff and make people angry, sit on the toilet (the first time I sat on that toilet will always be in my memory), watching Zelda's dad bathing... Man, those were the days. But somehow, it won't beat my love for Twilight Princess. Maybe it's because of Fi being so annoying about everything, including low battery, the "dowsing" button which I hardly ever use, useless information that I already know yet she wants to repeat it AGAIN, I can just go on and on about her. The Motion Plus doesn't catch all of my motions so it would frustrate me a lot. The final fight was disappointing and not as epic compared to Twilight Princess.

I feel like this game "babies" you too much.

I'm constantly being told what to do when it's so obvious.

And why does sitting on chairs restore hearts?

Well to be fair a lot of games "baby" these days its the result of game devs thinking all the non-gamer masses are stupid XD

Anyway I actually loved this game and I have been a fan since Link to the Past. I was skeptical at first since I wasn't the biggest fan of Twilight Princess but other than my all time favorite Ocarina of Time, Skyward Sword is the best in the series but maybe thats just me.
