I picked one up. I like it, I feel the trade for screen size was decent enough even without the 3D feature. The Mii games and the ability to pick up other Mii's while walking around is pretty cool. And for future title's like Zelda:OoT and the likes is also well worth it.

It's Nintendo, their prices never drop . What you can do though, buy one that was returned....which from my understanding many have already done.

Okay y'all. Here's my plan.
First, I wait until the 3Ds is sure to not have any problems, by then the price might have lowered.
This is good because it gives all the possibility of good games out there.
Then I will get it, and BUY PROFESSOR LAYTON, ACE ATTORNEY, ANIMAL CROSSING, and all the other nonsense out there!

Eventually? Probably. I'll most likely be waiting for more games to be released since I don't find the starting lineup to be particularly strong. The battery life seems disappointing, though. That was also one of the reasons why I wanted to replace my old, worn out DS phat with a 3DS.

Right now, I'm not especially interested in the 3DS, for the following reasons:
* The current 3DS software isn't especially interesting.
* I have plenty of really good portable games on other systems.
* I need to save my money for important things, and stuff I know I'll enjoy.
