I actually got the very last midnight purple one and I love it.

The features, all the little things that add to the experience like game notes.

Also I started with OOT 3DS and StarFox64 3DS. :3
Already have ds games, and now I can trade between my pokemon games again too. ^_^

I have a white Japanese 3DS LL and a Blue 3DS XL. I love them both. The white is a much cuter color for the system though. Although I'd say that about just about all technology... It's a shame that less consoles are released with a white option outside of Japan. I would have bought a white PS Vita if they'd been available on launch day.

Just ordered Tobidase Animal Crossing for my Japanese 3DS. I've been playing quite a bit of Taiko no Tatsujin Chibi Dragon to Fushigi na Orb lately but wanted a change of pace.

I once touched a 3DS briefly. I could never afford one though.. No matter how much I would like to have one.

I was furious because I really wanted a red one at launch, but they only had black and blue in UK. I probably should have waited for the red, cos it came 7-8 months later, but then I had it from launch. The other snag, was I found out about the extras because the price was reduced after the launch too late. Sucked because it was free classic games.

I still enjoy it, I just found there hasn't been many games for it as I initially thought there would be.

Though after hearing about Pokemon X and Y, it'll be very popular.

I wouldn't be surprised if the some of the animations used where from the old stadium games and snap too, or just the basic codes for the new animations.

I've already chosen my starter, same as every version, the water choice. They are always awesome and some of the best designs too. I know that fire, grass and water are the perfect formula, I'd like to see a generation where it's psychic, dark & fighting, just to break the mould or to have a second choice of pokemon later in the game.

Overall, from the trailer announcement, it looks to be one of the best in the series, possibly beating black & white and even gold and silver.
Hoping this will be my second squad that can't be stopped, my original gold squad was never defeated by brother, the best strategist I've ever seen. He always had the most balanced squad and knew the perfect moves to balance the pokemon's attacks. I just hope to once again have him at wits ends.

I'm surprised that it is the 1st pokemon game to have a worldwide release, possibly having real time to the game.

I'd say it's worth waiting if you aren't dying to play titles like Kingdom Hearts 3D. Pretty vague selection of titles at the moment.

I just ordered mine, good thing it's backwards compatible, ordered Pokemon Black 2, Kingdom Hearts 3D and FF4 in the bunch.
Very exided.

There's gonna be an Ico spin off called beyond the labyrinth, next gen Pokemon which will be in 3D, called X and Y and of course there's the MetalGearSolid 3DS version.

Lots of great titles for the DS that I'm going to order as well like KH 358/2 days and Chrono Trigger.
Never been into Mario oddly enough, but this might make a good change for me to get into it.
Lugi's mansion is comming out soon too.

Pokemon X and Y is going to be released in October if that's one of the titles that gets you pumped.

Im considering putting money aside a few weeks to get one, the new XL model looks pretty cool since i mostly only play handhelds at home now, and the big screens are really nice. And now its bundled with mario kart 7 which is pretty cool

The 3DS/XL is a pretty nice system. I really wasn't interested in one for the longest time, but I recently looked at some of the titles and some of the ones that are coming here soonish and I don't know why I wasn't interested. The new Animal Crossing New Leaf is amazing and most likely the best Animal Crossing to date. Soul Hackers will be very good. Bravely Default will be good, assuming Square removes their head from their rear and localizes it. The new SMT game will hopefully be good. Fire Emblem comes out in February. For Pokemon fans, the new game will probably be insanely popular as well. Lots of stuff to look forward to.

My bro got the 3dsxl model, actually impressed with the size of the screen and backplay for ds games.

I might consider getting a 3ds xl version when Pokemon comes out. Depends on what colours they'll have and what prices. A cool deal is out now for 2 free games but super mario land 3dland I can borrow from my bro while other than kart, there isn't any wow games with the bundles.

When I went to get a new DS I just went out and got the 3DS XL

A local store is selling a 3ds (any colour) for $129. Sounds like a good investment. But the 3ds xl is hard to pass. Though it's $199. Stupid Dilemma.



Edit: Bought a Red 3Ds XL. It was -$20 until Valentine's day.

I wish I would have waited to get my 3DS because the XL came out not too long after I got it. Dx Oh well.
