damn game companies trying to get rich, just wish a conglomerate would just buy them all up so we would only need one system to play the games... but i guess that'd be bad, b/c they could drive the prices up and no one could rival them O.O
soooo, nope not getting one, although gamestop was having a deal where u took in ur old ds and they'd discount ur new 3ds xl by $100 |

The limited edition Pikachu 3ds xl is coming to europe. I just checked out serebii, and it might possibly be coming in the U.S. If that is the case i will trade in my 3ds for this. No questions asked.

No questions asked. If you have an Ambassdor Nintendo 3DS, make sure to perform the Nintendo 3DS to Nintendo 3DS system transfer. You need to have both Nintendo 3DS systems and an internet connection in order to perform the transfer. Actually, that'll go anyways, unless you don't mind losing all of your saved data. |

Yeah i do, but i don't know how i might do that since i would have to trade my 3ds to get this :(. Well, first thing's first, which would be the actual release of the system here in North America. If it's not released here, you have nothing to worry about. To be completely honest though, I wouldn't be surprised if Nintendo released it here. What I would be surprised at is if Nintendo released it before the end of the 2012 year. If it was released before the end of 2012 though, it's almost certain that it would be released during one of two time frames, those being "Black Friday" or just before the year-end holidays, which also would mean it might be really hard to get one without paying an arm and a leg. As for the matter of a system transfer though, if GameStop carries the Pikachu 3DS-XL, you may be in luck, as some GameStop stores have been offering the system transfer in-store through a free internet connection. Remember, that's some stores, not all. If you can't get it through GameStop and perform a system transfer, then you'll have to choose between which matters more to you-keeping all of your saved and downloaded data, or a limited edition system that you could pick up in the future. Remember, Nintendo eShop accounts are tied only to the original source system, and Club Nintendo does NOT act as an all-in-one account for your downloaded games. As a side note, this whole post was written on my Nintendo 3DS console. Lol. |

Oh, okay i didn't know that some gamestop stores offered a free internet connection to help you transfer your dlc to the new system. That is a lot more helpful, but you know i was thinking that they might hold off until they release it around black friday. If that's the case it's going to be tough, but i want it so bad! Just like my Eiffel 65 cd's i will do whatever i can to get it. Oh and how do you manage typing in that? i mean it's not impossible, but i find it annoying. |

Just like my Eiffel 65 cd's i will do whatever i can to get it. Oh and how do you manage typing in that? i mean it's not impossible, but i find it annoying. Edited to keep the post from getting too long. Ha ha. Yes though, some stores do have an internet connection that you can use so you can perform the system transfer in the store. Since it's not at all stores though, the best thing to do would be to call a GameStop store near you and explain the situation. Tell them that you have a Nintendo 3DS console and that you were thinking about upgrading to the Nintendo 3DS-XL, and that you were wondering if they had an internet connection so that you could perform the system transfer from Nintendo 3DS to Nintendo 3DS in the store so that you won't lose any of your saved data or purchased downloads. If they tell you'll be able to keep your save data and purchased downloads just by popping the SD card out of your current system and sticking it in the new one, tell them they don't know nothing, and try another GameStop. Of course though, you don't want to be rude, since if they do take pre-orders on the console if comes, they might not give you one. As for when it would be released, I also do agree that Black Friday seems the most likely time, in which case, they might not offer pre-orders on the console. Last year, Nintendo released a very limited edition blue Nintendo Wii console for Black Friday, as well as the The Legend of Zelda 25th Anniversary Edition Nintendo 3DS console, and the two years before that they released limited edition Nintendo DSi consoles. And for how I managed that, the time it takes to write something like that on my Nintendo 3DS doesn't bother me, and I didn't wanna get out of bed. Too cold. Lol. |

I'm sort of like the Nintendo guy around here, so I'm full of all kinds of useless knowledge and I always have the latest news. Lol. If you ever have a problem with any of your Nintendo games or consoles though, feel free to drop me a line. I might be able to help you fix your problem. Or perhaps I'll see you around on either Kid Icarus: Uprising or Mario Kart 7. As a bit of sad news though, Nintendo of Japan announced that they're ending production of the Flare Red Nintendo 3DS. Not even two years old and they've retired two colors already. On the other hand though, they do have other colors we don't have over here. |
