Can't Log Into Crunchyroll Android App

.. I try to log into the Crunchy Roll app on my phone (my un/pass was saved up until today and it was working) and it won't let me. I am using the exact same combination that I used to log into the site and post my forum post. I tried both my email address and my username with my password and neither work. I even changed my password and tried to use the new one.. still doesnt work. I uninstalled the app and re-installed twice.. still can't log in.

Same thing is happening to me. Seriously CR, the mobile app is why I went premium and I use it all the time! This past week has given me nothing but trouble with it on my Droid X and my wifes Droid. Please fix ASAP!

I'm having the same problem. Also the app will not even load any videos its just a white screen when I start the app up.

Well I can login and view the menu of anime but it wont show the list of episodes available when viewing show details.

The login problem was resolved.

@tiernan3: Unless you have version 0.2.2 for a reason, you should update to the latest version.

Yes, I too still have login issues with the Android app. I have version 0.3.3 installed. Here's the thing - the app only has a problem when my phone is connected to WiFi. If I turn WiFi off I can log in with no problem. When I turn WiFi back on and try to sign in it will sit there for about 20 to 30 seconds and come back with an "invalid username or password" error. The problem is exclusive to the Android app, as the iPad app works fine on the same WiFi network.

It's not just the logon that won't work on WiFi, the videos themselves won't work either. If I try to play a video while on WiFi it will play the ad fine. When it tries to play the actual video it will sit on "Refreshing data" for 20 to 30 seconds then come back and tell me I need to be an anime or all-access member to watch the video, even though it is an older video that is freely viewable.

I may have found a temporary workaround. It involves some work though:

1) Turn off wifi.
2) Open Crunchyroll App, log in and start the video (the video needs to be started and in a couple of frames).
3) Press your home button on your phone (if you do not have a home button, I'm not sure this trick will work).
4) Turn wifi back on, let it connect to your network.
5) Go back into Crunchyroll, it should be where your video was paused and press play.

The Crunchyroll app should realize that wifi is faster than your mobile network and use that for data. You will have to do this for each video because it also authenticates your login when the video starts.

Obviously if you are in a location where your mobile network is fast enough to run a video, you do not need this trick. All you would have to do is turn off wifi. I get less than one bar in my location so I have to use this workaround.

Thanks Samenai! That seemed to work although I couldn't play the video once I was logged in and the wifi off... kinda odd as its 3G, but
when I turned the wifi back on I stayed logged in and the videos played! Thanks a ton :D

This sucks for us kindle fire users, because we can only use WI-FI. This is the only reason I even bother getting the premium edition. So if you can't fix this, then you can forget me ever subscribing to your service ever again.
