Cecilia, maybe it's also the case with Shippuden. That is, Viz streams it on their site while CR also streams it. I don't if Viz having T&B means that only they can legally stream it here. Licenses/streaming rights are complex.

So we shouldn't be surprised or kept in suspense at this news when ANN and some blogs reported the 2011 spring lineup spill from CR on the iOS app last week...

How about if you just do us all a favor, and make a topic title it " Crunchyroll will now do all seasonal anime's broadcast from now on" it would make our lives a whole lot better. Then just waiting for what being release from CR, and what is not.

It will be, with plenty of region restrictions too.

I'm guessing you were also looking forward to that show too, llamaben? Also, can you tell us what regions those are?

I don't know the exact regions for that one, but I do know it's currently set to no UK or Australia.

I'm hoping for these...

- [C] The Money and Soul of Possibility Control... I'm guessing Funimation will be the one to pick this up since it is noitamina
- Deadman Wonderland... could be a possibility since it is manglobe and CR got The World God Only Knows last season..
-The World God Only Knows 2... hopefully getting the first season leads to getting the second as well :)
- Kaiji: Hakairoku Hen... ig doubt on this one being picked up by CR
- Ao no Exorcist... I could see this going to Funimation as well, since they nabbed the last two series airing in the same timeslot
-Steins;Gate... probably Funi again since they have the rights for the original series, Chaos;Head
-Hidan no Aria... I'd say 50/50 on this... it's J.C. Staff and CR seems to get about 1/2 of their shows up for streaming

I would put Tiger&Bunny on the list, but Viz has already scooped it up. :-/ Bummer.

I expect if CR ever failed to get a sequel series like The World God Only Knows 2, there would be a chorus of, "Why the hell not!?".

As for Hidan no Aria, for reasons I have explained elsewhere, I am betting on this being TAN's simulcast for the Spring season. Except for last season, when they announced and started late, they typically announce only a few days before the premiere, so if CR indeed does not get this one, expect no news until mid-April.

Sequels I'm looking forward to (that I'm sure would be on Anime Network, not here) are Kampfer and Maria Holic.

oh, and as for Winter 2011, the new series I ended up sticking with to the very end include Kore Wa Zombie Desu-Ka, Rio Rainbow Gate, Gosick, Dragon Crisis.

I sincerely doubt you'll see the new Kampfer as a simulcast there, as it is only 2 episodes.

As for Maria Holic Alive, TAN has not shown any proclivity at all for obtaining simulcasts of sequels of series they already have. None of their simulcasts to date have been sequel series, and they did not obtain Motto To Love-Ru in Fall 2010, despite having the first series. In fact, they still don't have it, but at the rate they are adding new-ish library titles, that could change before the year is out.

Eek. For some odd reason, I always have a terrible time viewing simulcasts (or really any show) on ANN. It involves a lot of page refreshing, exiting IE and clearing the cache, etc. I do hope CR will get Hidan no Aria, but it always seems like CR picks up the least popular of the new J.C. Staff releases each season (Spring 2010: Uraboku instead of Kaichou was Maid-sama, Nodame Cantabile Finale (understandable not to pick up this considering CR does not have the first two installments) or Ookami-san; Fall 2010: Tantei Opera and Zakuro instead of Bakuman or Index 2; although CR did get the only new J.C. Staff release this season with Yumekuri Mery... but I'm not sure if that is a good sign or bad).

I haven't read the light novels or manga for Hidan no Aria, but it seems like it could be entertaining... one of those shows that could be very hit or miss.

On a side note: Is it just me or does it seem like some prominent Seiyuu aren't taking on as many roles this upcoming season? There seem to be a lot of new-comers getting lead roles.

hmm i noticed that as well, rie kugyima is back but well that's about it really. On yuki merry sentai film works picked it up by epiosde 4 so even is cr wanted to do a late simulcast like they did with mitusdome some else nabbed it ahead of time, and then cr would had to work it out with both sentai and the distribution in japan. I guess the reason why index 2 wasn't picked up is because again funimation licensed the 1st season and the side story Rail-gun. I really do wish that cr would have picked it up but there is a chance that funi will pick up season 2 as well so I guess that's why they didn't.

Did you mean you have problems at TAN or ANN? The Anime Network is the one I expect will get Hidan no Aria, not Anime News Network (which may be out of the simulcast market for now).

FYI, TAN having started to make some of their programming available on Hulu, but that has not included any simulcasts (at the time they are being simulcast).
