I usually re-read a book if it's something I read a long time ago and can't remember much of it. I only tend to do that when I want to finish the series though.

If its a good book, then I have no trouble in reading it multiple times. BUt some like the hunger games, I can only read once (its a good book to read, but only if you turn your brain off and not ask any questions)

Depends on how much I liked the book.

Yes.
Most of the books in my library I've read several times.
The "Lord of the Rings" trilogy, alone, I've read some 14 times. It was an annual thing, for me, for awhile.
"Manifest Destiny", by Barry Longyear, is another one I've read repeatedly.

I used to re-read books all the time, for example, i read each harry potter book at least three times, and as many as seven times. However, once I reached middle school, I found it harder and harder to re-read books. (or manga) I like to listen to audio books multiple times though!

Yup, only if it's very good. Same with movies, tv shows, etc etc. There are exceptions though. I watched The Room and Batman and Robin multiple times even though they're abysmal.

If I've forgotten most of it yes.

Reading is one of my passions. I might not be a "huge" reader (I only go through about a book a month) but I do have some that I love re-reading.

For example, I think I've re-read 1984 about five times (my first reading was about 9 years ago in high school) now. I've always found it relaxing to take a break from the computer and friends by sitting back and getting lost in a book. But, everyone is different.

I've read most books AT LEAST twice, like min. of 2 times.
Average: around 4 or 5 times.
And for my fave book. Most 20 to 30 time (no kidding) But generally 10 times norm. (Twice a year thing: meaning 5years in a row).
