Not impressed at all. And adding one piece as a special doesn't add anything to it at all. It needs to be a stand alone title. I probably won't give this show a second chance.

You wanted character development and story in 20 pages? Are you serious? And why do you care if a character is called Tommy? Is it not Japanese enough for you?
And there's nothing wrong with the artwork - it was heavily inspired by One Piece.
No, I want character development and plot in 135 chapters, which is how long Toriko has been running for. And if you actually read the manga, not the crossover, then you would know what I'm talking about. Tommy has to be one of the worst drawn characters of all time.

Try the ova if you want something stand alone.. Though the voice actors are different than the crossover. You can see it on youtube.
