The shows they licensed were never "targeted at an older audience" shows like Yu Gi Oh, One Piece and Pokemon were always targeted at kids in their native country. The US just has a different standard of what's appropriate for kids.

I will have to concur with you. It's not that I think that 4Kids sucks entirely, they did introduce newer Anime to Western sensibilities...kinda.

But when it comes to liquidations or lay-offs, the workers are always those who suffer the most.
