Stellar’s Kim Ga Young holds Eric hostage

The famous student from “Kukak High School”, Kim Ga Young, is set to debut in a 4-member girl group named Stellar, and she recently revealed a set-up picture from the set of ‘Spy Myung Wol‘, where she is making her drama debut, with her real-life CEO and co-star Eric.

On Stellar’s official me2day, Kim Ga Young posted, “Set of Spy Myung Wol~ Eric oppa, who plays Kangwoo. Oppa, your fan is so cute.”

In the photos, Kim Ga Young’s cute face is completely overpowered by the huge gun she holds ever-so nonchalantly. Eric looks as calm as ever, even though he’s being held hostage by the cute girl.

Netizens wrote, “‘Spy Myung Wol’ is getting good“, “Eric’s fan is so cute“, and “How can she hold up a gun to top star Kangwoo?”

I bet Eric is pissed he didn't just wait out for Poseidon...

Things have become so chaotic behind the scenes. I feel so bad for the production crew and the actors that have to deal with the mess Han Ye Seul has left behind. Abandoning the drama and flying out to the US...are you kidding me? How netizens are still defending her juvenile behavior is beyond me.

I wish the production of Myung-Wol the Spy the best of luck for the remaining weeks.

A storm for Spy Myungwol as Han Ye Seul missed filming schedule

The worse is : now rumored that Han Ye Seul left Korea today to Los Angeles.
What a blow for KBS and Spy Myungwol’s production team.

It was a problem that has successfully covered for around one month. We heard that Han Ye Seul wanted a 5 days a week filming for her and seemed that her demand already granted. But, looks like filming schedule could not cope with her demand and today it’s revealed that yesterday, Sunday August 14 , Han Ye Seul failed to show up in the filming scene, so did today.

Whereas, the drama filming so far only completed 40% of 11th episode which should be aired today (August 15). That pushed KBS to airs a Spy Myungwol special program today. And with Han Ye Seul still nowhere, it’s not clear with tomorrow episode.

It’s also revealed that there was a clash between Han Ye Seul and drama director , PD Hwang In Hyuk, since the beginning of drama production. Han Ye Seul as the main actress requested to change the PD and KBS gave a way out with added an additional PD, Kim Young Kyun, and still retain PD Hwang In Hyuk.

But, seemed Han Ye Seul still dissatisfed with her working condition, and resulted with her absence in filming scene yesterday and today.

Is Han Ye Seul acting diva?
We think, a bit yes. She won’t do it if this is the first ever she got a role as main lead actress.

Is Han Ye Seul completely wrong?
We think, she’s not !
It’s no secret that many Korean dramas was filmed in the same day with its broadcast time, resulted a messy schedule for production team and the actors. Han Ye Seul finished shooting at 5 AM in the morning and has to show up again at 7 AM?

But, if Han Ye Seul really left Korea, this might be bad for her reputation, no matter what !
And who want to work with her again?
But on the other hand, she could be a pioneer in Korean drama business who tries to change the way Korean drama should be made.

The Chronicles of Han Ye-seul

Just keeping up with Han Ye Seul’s debacle over the last couple of days was a full time job. Below is the recap of events that made this actress the talk of town.

■8/14 - Han Ye Seul doesn’t show up on set of Spy Myungwol
■8/14 – Media goes wild wondering what happened to Han; reports about Han’s plans to get marry a rich entrepreneur after the drama as well as Han’s fall out with the PD make headlines
■8/13 – Eric makes an official stance that Han should come back
■8/15 – Sidus HQ and KBS hints of a lawsuit based on Han’s unprofessional behavior
■8/15 – Han’s mother comes to Korea to sort things out, but Han has already left for the states when she lands in Seoul. Talk about timing and Korean dramas.
■8/15 - Han spotted at LA airport and states that
I’m willing to let go of everything and I hope that other up-and-coming actors and actresses don’t have to deal with what I have been through

■8/15- KBS holds a press conference explaining situation and airs a “special compilation” episode due to Han’s no-show
■8/16 – Mother Han comes to the rescue and convinces the actress to return to Seoul
■8/16 – Han calls head of KBS drama to apologize
■8/17 – Han returns to Seoul
■8/17 – Media and netizens discuss contingency plan such as replacing Han with another actress and resuming the drama without her
■8/17 – KBS airs episode 11 of the drama that basically repaints the Han debacle in one episode. Myungwol (han’s character) is an actress and gets too stressed out from shooting and collapses. Finally, the writers of this drama are demonstrating a sense of humor!
■8/17 – Han to return to set on the 18th and apologize to staff
■8/17 – Actor Yang Dong Kwon tweets that Han is innocent
■8/17 – KBS, Sidus HQ, the Production House and Han are all lawyering up for a mega law suit
■8/17 – Industry insiders and netizens predict hard times for Han when she returns to set
■8/17 – Han’s hair stylist speaks up about how the staff treated her like a slave

It’s a bit anticlimactic that Han returned to Seoul to continue filming the drama after all the drama she caused. If she really wanted to prove a point regarding the killer shooting schedule or the PD, running away to LA to come back in less than 24 hours to continue shooting doesn’t do much. It’s uncertain what really happened behind the scenes, but Han is no newbie to the Korean entertainment industry and I’m sure she is fully aware of the backlash she’s going to face when she returns on the set. Not only does she face a huge lawsuit from all parties involved but her dear image is now tarnished and the staff of Spy Myungwol must hate her.

Given that Han is a veteran of the Korean entertainment industry and has more than an ounce of brain cells. There must have been a reason why she left the scene in such haste. What triggered actress Han Ye Seul to basically give up her entire career and flee the scene? Was this the only choice she had to remove herself from a bad situation?

Eric and Han Ye Seul reconcile during 'Spy Myung Wol' lunch break

Despite their awkward beginning, the cast, staff, and leading stars of KBS's 'Spy Myung Wol' reconciled their differences during their lunch break.

After actress Han Ye Seul completed shooting her scenes in the morning, the crew broke for a lunch break. Prior to the lunch break, it was reported that the atmosphere between Han Ye Seul and co-starEric was awkward and icy. That tension was broken after Han Ye Seul gave a deep apology in a kneeling position; Eric responded with, "Resolve the awkwardness, fighting!".

The atmosphere returned to normal afterwards, as laughter was heard and conversations flowed ceaselessly. Eric and Han Ye Seul were finally able to face each other, and Go Young Tak (KBS's drama director), EP Lee Kang Hyun, CP Jung Song Hyo, and PD Hwang In Hyuk managed to converse without any awkwardness.

The staff and cast ate samgyeoupsal (pork belly) while lightly drinking beer and cola, relaxing before filming resumed for the afternoon. The staff tapped Han Ye Seul's back to express their support and encouraged her to work diligently as they continued filming.

Han Ye Seul apologized, "There were some difficulties in filming that made me feel sad. However, I later found out that it was all a misunderstanding. After causing this incident, I am thankful that I was welcomed warmly when I returned. Even if I opened my heart to everyone, it wouldn't be enough. I'll use all the strength I drew from these difficulties to film my parts.".

Han Ye Seul began to cry, as she could no longer hold back her tears in. Upon hearing the apology, the faces of the staff and actors reportedly got brighter and everyone resolved to work harder than ever.
