why r there no more codeing?

i remember having youtube videos and music players on my profile, it was nice,
i know it was banned from cr in total some time ago, but not to long ago shinji or someone really did get rid of any possible chances of imbedding or anything related to videos of flash (i think?)

discussion on why he had to get rid of music players,

i dont know the full story on why videos and all that is really gone, a explanation would ne nice 3:

you can still embed music, but is a premium only feature
the box for the code is located on the basic profile information page (its the second big text field)
and i believe youtube will never come back due to the fact that most of the content is not licensed

ah thanks, but i was thinking more about like, the music players some people would embedd to there profiles, not just the one embedd box, like that one trick where you can get any music player on your profile without a membership,

I didn't know there was a loop-hole on CR as I am relatively new
but all rules are there for a reason and some are meant to be broken
this one is there to protect CR from frivolous lawsuits from the RIAA (whom is known to sue for adsurd ammounts of money for things like this. ex. Sony BMG v. Tenenbaum and Capitol v. Thomas)

We wouldn't mind allowing people to use html and such on their profiles but, allowing this could be and has been abused. So we patched the loophole that allowed this to be done. Any similar loopholes will also be patched and, if anyone comes across a loophole like this, it should be reported to me.

yep dont i know like my space pages being hijacked with an inline html comment or people altering youtube videos with a comment containing html
i am in full support of computer and site security (im a computer security fanitic, to the paranoid level) so i commend you for this
but i think a few tags should be allowd
mainly the line break (especialy on video pages) sometimes i forget about comments having all hard returns removed and the </br> tag didnt even help
