Being quoted on CR
Posted 4/12/11 , edited 4/12/11
So what sort of CR member are you with regards to the forums. Are you the type that love discussion or dispute and wag your tail whenever you have a notification of a quote.

What type of individuals do you find quote you often? Do you think you have a stalker on CR?

What type of quotes do you feel compelled to quote on; Annoying troll or a dissenting point of view which shakes you up?

Are you shy to get involved with a discussion? Though you honestly shouldn't be because you're anonymous on the net.

Do you think posting isn't worthy of your time or just read what others have to say? Are you always answering to the best that you can or do you love to troll?

Tell us your CR personality in the forums.

Read some of my posts and find out....what a weird question. I just vent what I feel and try and discuss things, and try to convey my point by necessary means whether by quoting, emphasising my point in bold or just using an image just to prove my point.

It's not weird dude don't burst the mood. It's not easy to follow and retain every single person that is on CR. And what we do best in the forums is post. It's a fair enough thread.

I never said how I am on the forums. My personality is sometimes serious but I do love the occasional trolling. I also enjoy people quoting me on something I can quote them back on to. A battle of logic or trolling both are fun to boot. Oh and luring teenage girls to meet me in person is a hobby I have on CR. I'm kidding (pun not intended).

I just post whatever I like on forums but on-topic. I used to post a lot of times before and there were lots who used to quote me on cr too... but nah, I'm not that active anymore on forums like I used to.. I just quote someone now due to 'helping' purposes and the likes. but I DO love arguments xD and watching users' arguments and trolls make my day.

Read the post, and I have three options available to me.

1) Respond and further state my opinion or statement
2) Ignore it.
3) Take it to Private Message and try to handle it with diplomacy and understanding.

What type of individuals do you find quote you often? Do you think you have a stalker on CR?

A myriad of people quote me, though my good friends Varnlestoff and MelodieLenora quote me the most. We're of very similar intelligence and opinions, so it's understandable.

What type of quotes do you feel compelled to quote on; Annoying troll or a dissenting point of view which shakes you up?

I ignroe both, and if something is confusing to me I ask the person to elaborate on it. That is all.

Are you shy to get involved with a discussion? Though you honestly shouldn't be because you're anonymous on the net.

A good conversation mixed with intelligent chitchat? I'm all for that. Extremely monotone and intelligent arguments and debates though? I'm scared off by those-- I prefer personable and reasonable statements followed by subjectivity. If I see nothing but logic logic rationalizing justifying logic logic logic I tend to get irritated. If you want to make yourself a machine, then wait a few more decades.

Do you think posting isn't worthy of your time or just read what others have to say? Are you always answering to the best that you can or do you love to troll?

If someone asks me something and it isn't baseless or simple accusative (Which if so I'll assume a troll and just ignore it) I'll always answer to the best of my abilities. The reason being I'm very honest to begin with, and I don't see the problem answering someone with a relevant question.

The "Don't mistake chivalry for mercy" kind of person, with a misotheistic foundation in beliefs followed by a strong drive for eugenics and a passion for ideology of many sorts. This is my personality in forum and in private. The privilege of getting tos ee my softer side is restricted though. I don't see a reason to be nothing but stoic and blunt to someone on forum. Privately and with my friends though, I'm candid and blunt.

I speak my mind, good or bad, offensive or kind. I don't like weaboo posts and I will sometimes bash them....I despise people who forum-police or respond unnecessarily mean to a thread that is a double or isn't to their taste. Woah you really took your time and went through the forums with a fine comb just to find a duplicate? SAD, know what I mean? Lol.

Yeah you. Lol nah joke.
I do get a lot of quoted posts off certain individuals, I prefer the term "admirers" however as apposed to stalkers. HA!
Umm I suppose trolls which I love boring to death by replying with really short unprovocative answers. Sometimes I do go nuts though...
People who don't like me because of my outspoken and often aggressive posts, get over it...don't like it go on the Internet and complain...oh wait.

What type of quotes do you feel compelled to quote on; Annoying troll or a dissenting point of view which shakes you up?

If its a personal post about me or someone I know on CR I will quote the shit out of them. I quote things worthy to be quoted, or if someone has said exactly what I wanted to.

Are you shy to get involved with a discussion? Though you honestly shouldn't be because you're anonymous on the net.

No I'm not shy and will reply to a quoted post if I get one.

Do you think posting isn't worthy of your time or just read what others have to say? Are you always answering to the best that you can or do you love to troll?

I read the first post and the first page then post my own opinions.

I just post whatever in a topic that interest me. It's actually flattering when someone quotes me so I welcome it. It lets me know that people value my opinion honestly, and I respect that.

I like being quoted. It's usually someone that wants to let me know they agree or disagree with what I've wrote. Which is always nice to see others opinion. I don't usually quote others. But when I do, it's usually for a warning

One of my pet peeves in the forums though, is when you write a huge paragraph, and someone who reads it half-assed. Then they quote you. Then complains how they disagree, then writes 2 paragraphs how I'm wrong, but because they didn't read what I've wrote properly, it ends up with them completely repeating what I said.

Which happens a lot believe it or not .__.

People that quote me tend to have dissenting opinions. I haven't been posting here long, but the time I was quoted that was most memorable to me was when someone commented on how I was raised.

I like entering a discussion. I think it is boring when everyone posts random comments on the internet without engaging another. I just don't like being quoted by trolls.

Actually come to think of it I do tend to quote you a fair bit. I just quote anything I think is worthy of quoting no matter how tedious. Yes sometimes I find your posts worthy of quoting because they touch me in places I never thought were possible. You know you really ought a stop touching me. LOL. Officer!

A lovely lady like response. No apologies sometimes I can't help but be crude in my posts.

If the topic is interesting and I have enough to say about it then I'll post. If I get quoted well, I for one love discussion and debates between people who don't constantly swear at each other for the hell of it or immediately alienate the new members. So when I do get quotes I like to listen debate and just generally talk with others.
If I quote someone else it's usually to drop some information to others that I feel contributes to their point or answers a question. Disagreement on viewpoints is a great way to start conversations.
And trolling is fun occasionally.
