Do you have any preferred methods with regards to eating? Do you like to eat with your hands as often as you can or always resort to cutlery (spoon, forks, knives) or maybe chopsticks?

I usually have a fork, or spoon of some sort (depending on which is easiest to use for the kind of food it is; and of course, chopsticks when in a place it's appropriate, though I... I am a self-taught user, and only so decent at it), but I almost always end up sticking my fingers in there at some point.

Soup too do you sip it from the bowl or use a spoon? Do you take drinks using a straw or cup, maybe even straight from the container? Or maybe you're filthy rich and get maids to bring the cups to your mouth?

I usually use a spoon at first, end up lifting it up. Occasionally, I'll just stick it in a cup for convenience's sake, but that's pretty rare. Drinks, from the up, asides my curly-straw, because curly-straws are just fun. If it's already in a container, I'll usually leave it in it. And no, more like broke, so I have to do that hard-deed on my own. xD

Oh and what's you favorite position?

Well, usually I'll sprea-- oh, right, we're talking about that kind of eating...
Well, in bed, laying down, but will a few coupled pillows behind me to keep me up enough so I don't spill... more than necessary.

I'm a slow eater, because I used to get really bad stomach aches when I ate too fast as a child.
I have weird habits with random foods, but I honestly can't think of examples at the moment.

I won't even bother explaining the time that eating cheese cake with chopsticks lead to a knife-fight with my best friend. Fun times, since she lost.

I eat slowly with a knife and fork, depending on what the food is and if cutlery is necessary. I eat small amounts at a time because my stomach got messed up in an accident, so some of it was removed and they just sowed it up. If I eat a normal meal I will be very sick. Still eat normal food, except the portion is cut down considerably. It sucks but I have to live with it.

You're always making me weep. I don't mean to get noisy and it's probably none of my business but do you have a favorite position

Intriguing. How do you drink?

I like your answers. Me too I'm so focused on eating and mixing different mouthfuls of food to get yummy flavours, I am never able to recall what I did during those times.

I eat breakfast with my hands, lunch with chopsticks and dinner with a fork. No joke.

With my bear hands.

Fork, knife, chopsticks, hands(to hold the cup that holds my protein shake, and sandwiches, burritos, wraps, etc.), and chop sticks. I rarely use spoons anymore because it would make the food I force myself to eat very difficult to eat. Spoons though I would use all the time for Japanese-style curry and rice, beef stew and rice, fried rice, and Japanese-style hash and rice. For soups, ramen, and saimin I use chopsticks, spoon, and drink from the bowl haha.

when at home or even a friends house i prefer to eat from a mug.... no plates or bowls. Whether it's soup, pasta, cereal, chili, chicken adobo, etc. i'm almost always eating it from a mug. If there's a mug with a spoon or fork in it lying around then you can bet i'm the culprit

I like to eat with forks. I can use chopsticks on chicken and such, but I have no idea how to pick up rice

Yours is the most strangest so far. It made me chortle. Mug, no disrespect but I would giggle and say oh look it's Nelley eating out of her mug again. Everyone look.

Outside: fork and knife, and I use a spoon for soup. If the is dessert, I use the spoon for it.
At home: I use fork only. If there is soup, I drink it directly from the bowl, and I never eat dessert at home.´
I try not to use my hands because they get all greasy but I do use them to eat hot dogs, fried chicken, popcorn (no way someone is gonna use a spoon for it, but anyways)...etc

I'm a rice consumer and being Iranian I'm accustomed to eating using a spoon and fork as apposed to a knife and fork (honestly never understood how some ppl can eat rice using a fork but guess its just what ones used to).

If the food is chines/japanese or any east asian style food that is traditionally eaten with a chopstick then I try my best to consume as much of it as I can with chopsticks. I enjoy using them.

I'm not one of those fancy ppl who uses a knife an fork to cut a burger or pizza slice, those foods are designed to be eaten with hands and that is just what I do.

My 'eating position'...well just to give myself an extra challenge I like to contort my body into a knot and try and lift my spoon with my toes...yeah clear sarcasm. Just the usual sitting at the table or crossed leg on he floor if I decide to watch T.V.
