videos stopped streaming

Hello,

All videos have just stopped streaming for me. They are now stuck on --:--/--:-- instead of actually loading the vid.


edit: This is the same on all browers. Chrome/FF/IE9, all updated to the latest version

CR's throughput has been pretty shaky of late. It used to be I had little problem streaming, but for the last month or so at least, I've had numerous evenings when I just give up. And when I do that, I go stream some stuff from Hulu, so it's not the computer, my local net, or my ISP specifically... it's some performance problem in their cloud I would guess.

This has become a serious problem, I can't use the service a majority of the time even though I'm an anime subscriber. Continuation of this type of shoddy service may end with me cancelling my plan.

Yeah. It's pretty much unusable right now. I like their selection, but it does me no good when I can't watch it.

I cant watch the videos and I use firefox but I have not upgraded to the new firefox 4

however lately the videos have been really slow loading and skipping a lot. I know its not me either cause I have a new comp and a really fast internet. This is the only site thats slow for me. Plus my profile keeps glitching and disappearing. The glitch is one thing but when I have to deal with videos that i can barely watch when I am paying for them it kinda ticks me off.

I am in the same boat with all of you. It is rather impossible to watch anime at the moment with all the buffering problems.

Crunchyroll will never change their ways until people stop paying them to be stupid. Freezing videos on a 10 Mbps connection, youtube, etc. working fine and we are still blamed. If people stop paying CR then maybe they will step up and fix it.

After months of this much hassle, CR shouldn't be working with their service provider to "fix the problem" but changing their service provider instead. I still have yet to watch a video without any buffering stutter regardless of resolution.

Getting half way through a show and then suddenly I have to pause the video for like 10 minutes to get like 10 seconds of video really kills the fun of trying to watch the video.

This is completely unacceptable for a pay service.

They wonder why people download illegally. THIS IS WHY there is no good legal streaming services. With all the trouble i have had with CR i am about done with using them. I will not stoop down to downloading illegally but this is just to annoying to deal with.

CR STOP CUTTING CORNERS AND OVER SELLING YOUR SERVICES.

This is getting out of hand. My connection can't be any better and at peak hours its a pain in the *cough* to watch videos in here. No point of paying for something that breaks when too many people use it . . .

I feel like we are talking to a brick wall here. Is there a point of having a support forum if they don't do anything about fixing the issue? Or at least provide feedback?

Anyhow, I cancelled my subscription for now. If you guys manage to fix your server issues, I'll resubscribe.
