Its an interesting anime I'll have to admit. It its funny how the main character sort of got dragged into it when he didn't want to. But overall very different in a good way I will continue to watch it and see what happens I saw the first 2 episodes so far

The first episode was a hooker, a lot of questions, a lot of action. Characters seemed interesting.

Second episode was too rushed, unfortunately; and the protagonist took a turn for the worse: "I don't really understand, but I don't want to see you get hurt!" Too shonen-ish--I expected more seinen-character qualities. Questions from episode 1 were too quickly answered. Still hopeful though for future episodes.

BTW, at this point, I want to ask if the Japan crises has caused some anime to be changed, and fast-forwarded? Like were scripts re-written to rush the anime to finish on-time?

Third episode is out, but I haven't watched it yet. Hopefully, it'll slow down the pace from episode 2.

The 3rd episode definitely slows the pace down and also introduces a new character... a reporter with access to the Financial District planning on uncovering its secrets and figure out what the plan is for introducing Midas money into the real world. She also explains how the Financial District works, how many there are, how they are formed, etc., so a lot of questions are answered. Also a nice conversation between the two main characters as well.

It looks like the main plot is going to be whether or not the protagonist will decide to expose and/or take down the Financial District (technically he could bankrupt it by defeating Mikuni enough), or if he will take the money he earns and find something in the real world worth living for and helping.

After ep 3, it definitely looks to be off to a more adult type show, not some weird Yugioh copy.

I think this show is A LOT better to viewers with a background in economics... I love how they interchange the meaning of "future". Even calling the currency "Midas Money" is pretty clever, considering that in Greek mythology King Midas could turn anything he touched into gold but learned to hate his "gift" because of how it affected his surroundings... The Midas Money is similar, it's something valuable created out of nothing negatively affecting its environment.

Episode 4 has definitely been the best and most poignant so far. Outside of the story, I'm still continually impressed with the animation in each episode. After a somewhat weak and confusing 1st and 2nd episode (it started out seeming like Yu-Gi-Oh! for adults with the card battles), decent 3rd, the 4th episode just knocks it out of the ballpark. I hope the rest of the series continues to be as good and relevant as this episode.

The reason I love this show is all the references to real-life terms coined up in economics. Everything makes more sense if you actually know what they are talking about.

Episode 4 just upped the ante and took this show to a whole other level. Looking forward to see how this one develops.

I must admit, it was a pretty good Anime. I like how the story tells about those Money things. But Anime like this don't usually stand long enough as Naruto and such. Probably over in 20+ episodes. Still, loving it!!!

Yes this show is pretty awesome, although sometimes I do cringe at those 3D backgrounds that looks like theive been made in MMD...

Also you are now aware that the financial district only has a grand total of 7.6 trillion yen. Compare that to actual Japan with a GDP of about 5 trillion USD, which is roughly equivilent to 500 trillion yen. Not so rich now are they.
