As the title says, how many cavities have you got? and why? How much did it cost?
milk teeth cavities don't count.

I've gotten 2 cavities ever since I began using brackets, since a year and a half ago, and before that, I only got when I was little, and never in my permanent teeth. I spent a total of 60$.

Almost forgot to say that getting your teeth clean every day with braces on isn't easy. I brush my teeth twice a day, using floss at least once in the night... and still got them ._.

One.
I typically have a good track record when it comes to my oral hygiene, but for a while I was unable to get my regular biannual cleanings (due to family issues) and I guess things festered. It was fairly mild and I haven't had to have any root canals or major surgeries (besides a recent periodontal tissue graft for other reasons).

You're supposed to brush basically after each meal whenever you can. Floss at least once using a C shape around the contours of your teeth and going under 3mm of your gums, you don't need to saw away at them so be gentle. Even that's not enough to get other parts of your mouth so it's beneficial to use a mouthwash to do the rest.

Oh and brush that tongue because bacteria on it is the major cause of bad breath.

And it's a good idea to drink with a straw particularly with acidic drinks such as soft drinks or even orange juice. Though with acidic drinks and foods you should wait half hour before you brush because they weaken your enamel and brushing so soon can actually cause damage to enamel.

Also remember your gums can't grow back. So when you brush don't press too hard otherswise your gum line will recede and you'll end up having buck tooth.

I never got a cavity before and I never went to the dentist from my whole life... That's actually true. I don't know how though.

ive had a few, not any recently.
though i do have to get my two front teeth rebuilt ever few years.
a few years back i crashed on my bike and broke my two front teeth in half.
but instead of caps or crowns they used a white filler material and built my two teeth.

Should it not be "how many fillings do you have?" I have no cavities and three fillings, all on my back teeth and all filled in white so I can't even find them.
