Lol, I got to milk a cow. I felt like such a ninja when the milk went in the bucket.

You got it! I guess not much people read the entire post to know what "milking the cow" actually is. It's an experience. treegurl84 is the only other one who got it also.

I thought so. Not many people do read the OP's comment before typing anyway lol.
As for my answer, I never really experienced anything that's equivalent to that. Not unless trying to overcome speaking in front of a classroom is one of them.

I get that feeling often. I live in fear and anxiety, so when I fight past it and accomplish something, I suppose that's like milking the cow for me.

Little things like getting 3 to 5 things done in a day, that's my milking the cow. Even if that's "do laundry, finish project, take a shower, cook dinner, and get gas". Those things that others find easy. That there is no anxiety or depression or paranoia or anything negative that they associate those activities with. Those are the things that CAN be very hard for me. So when I feel awful but manage to get something done anyway, I feel good again.

Making phone calls is my number one example. I have to do it, I don't want to, it scares me, but I do it and feel relieved afterwards and usually realize "That wasn't nearly as bad as I thought it would be."

First of all, this is an awesome forum, second I would never milk a cow because I hate the country side and no offense to anyone
