This series should not to be confused with pedo or loli Anime. I mean both watchers and producers should not to this.

Everyone which seen last episode should understand what am i trying to say already. I prefer and hope future episodes will contain funny and nice story instead of lot of Ecchi. If they mixed up with ecchi lot more then i will stop watching this (at least i will watch with no joy)

I wanted show like "pure" Hanamaru Yoichen, not newage Ecchi Harem Lolicon series.

Once they stepped away from the initial premise the series has become very sweet and cute. I love Lotte and Asuha interacting and Naoya's role in things is more of a fatherly figure than anything romantic or sexual.

Ultimately the show is about a very shy insecure princess who needs help coming out of her shell.

For the most part this is true of the manga as well.. there is plenty of dirty joking going on, but the majority of it is between the girls.. at Naoya's expense, mostly.

However, there is a side character introduced (later in the manga, but before some of the events that have already been moved out of place in the anime) who is seriously after a spot in Lotte's harem, not due to attraction for lolis, but due to her status as heir to the throne. He has other issues as well.

What I find interesting is the general reaction, and how the differences in age are looked at, relationship-wise.. some people are disgusted with the idea of a 23 year old to 10 year old relationship (and I agree, it's pretty inappropriate), and would express distaste for a 29 year old with a 16 year old, but they'd applaud a 33 year old who landed a 20 year old girlfriend, and wouldn't even think about the age difference at all if a 70 year old was dating/married to a 50 year old. On another hand, some others might think that all 3 of those relationships are gross or inappropriate. My personal preference is toward a gap of less than 5 years, but once you are sexually and emotionally mature, it's really your call (note: this interpretation is vague, as mental maturity might come very early, or never, so all cases must be seen individually)

Yeah people forget she is not human and so there bodies and minds are not the same as a human.

'on another note.. episode 5 explains for the ones to clueless to understand how the queen and the human is related.

It's cute but....

Naoya being 23 with a 10-year-old KID is really hard to swallow.

I liked episodes 1 and 2.
...........then Asuha became a center character.
I find Asuha pretty annoying. First of all:

*She keeps saying "Boku". Ugh. WHY DO GIRLS THINK IT'S CUTE TO SAY "BOKU"!? IT'S NOT CUTE! IT'S DUMB!
*She's ten but she acts like a three-year-old. Running around without panties on? Acceptable, normal behavior for ages 1-4...maybe even five. But TEN? What kind of f**king 10-YEAR-OLD-GIRL runs around commando "because it feels good"!? Ten-year-olds know better than that!! IS SHE RETARDED!?
Show would be a lot better without Asuha, in my opinion. >_>

Asuha's way of talking bugs me. XD She keeps saying "Boku". Ugh. WHY DO GIRLS THINK IT'S CUTE TO SAY "BOKU"!? IT'S NOT CUTE! IT'S DUMB!

you do know that males use "Watashi" too, right? it's not a big deal...

i see no problem with either, since they facilitate the same purpose

Yes I know but that's quite different.

Males use "watashi" out of politeness/formality. Female characters use "boku" because it's regarded as "cutesy". Unfortunately most female characters who use it in the "cutesy" way are simply trying too hard to be cute....and they instead, come off as obnoxious. Isuzu from Ookami Kakushi also used it and she was also quite obnoxious.

I would say Asuha's behavior has a lot to do with her being raised by a single parent, teenager dad. Especially the 'boku' form of 'I'. Growing up, that was all she heard from Naoya so it makes sense. I think Asuha has a better personality than Lotte. She is more outgoing and honest with her feelings and she is smart enough to help Lotte with getting to know her classmates.

I don't know who Naoya is supposed to be paired with tbh... its getting kind of confusing and honestly the whole thing with Naoya being 23 years old turned me off to the anime I'm kinda just watching it to see the end now ...

WAtashi is the formal/polite form of I/me. I think you are referring to Atashi, the feminine form of I/me. When males us atashi it probably means they're gay.
