Third time's the charm, Yukina/Kisa was brilliant. Yukina almost seems too good to be true. The first kiss was preceded by lots and lots of signals from Kisa, and afterwards Yukina was persuasive rather than forceful. And he's like, a manly man that appreciates cuteness!

I hope Onodera's former co-worker resurfaces. She could make things very interesting, especially if she like, asked Onodera out, or even just wanted to drink at his place; Takano sees her arrive, and then she ends up crashing so he sees them leave together in the morning too. Jump to conclusions, Takano! Bwahahaha!

I'm not a huge yaoi fangirl, but I really enjoyed both Junjou Romantica and Sekai Ichi Hatsukoi. The romance is cute and silly, but really serious when it needs to be. The pacing is perfect and the fact that there are multiple couples within the same story changes things up and gives the viewer a couple to root for if they don't particularily enjoy the main couple.

I highly recommend watching Sekai Ichi Hatsukoi or Junjou Romantica, even if you aren't into yaoi anime or even shounen-ai. They're a lot better than the moe blob anime out there.

I personally agree with dreamboy20 on the Takano/Onodera thing. I like them both but Onodera annoys me a lot with the indecision and obliviousness. He didn't even rememebr Takano in the beginning, and claims he was his first love! True, his name changed since then, but he couldn't have changed appearance THAT much for him not to be recognized.

And I don't think Takano is too aggressive. He needs to get his point across, and he's devoted to Onodera at least. His friend may be romantically interested in him, but he only sees that guy as a close friend, not a love interest. I think Takano is plenty charming, he just has a short temper XD (and I love those kinds of characters really, I think it's cute how they get all angry and stuff |D)

Onodera needs to just man up and accept that he was in the wrong all those years ago, and admit to himself that he never stopped loving Takano so they can make out and get married and make out some more =w=

I like all the other couples too though >w<

I actually do think Takano is very aggressive and forceful ,but I don't mind since this is an anime . Had he existed in real life I would have been scared shit .I actually think his parent's divorce might be the reason for his behavior ; since he didn't get much love as a child from his parents he aggressively tries to snatch that love from his loved one (Onodera in this case).

Yeah, Onodera is still in love with Takano but Takano has no right to push him to the ground and get on top of him unless Onodera gives consent. If Takano respects him just a little bit ,maybe he wouldn't have to work so hard in winning his heart ! Onodera is in denial because he really used to love Takano wholeheartedly and felt gravely betrayed when he heard Takano's laugh ; thats why he doesn't want to get hurt again. I agree its not Takano's fault they broke up but ten years is a long time gap. He just can't expect Onodera to get over his inhibitions in an instant and behave lovey dovey with him.He needs to give Onodera more time and more personal space .

I know! I just love their pairing in the manga.... it's super sweet! ^.^ Yukina is way different than Takano completely XD. And he's like some cute-loving manly master of manga :P..

I love Junjou Romantica to death, especially the manga but I was disappointed with this one....I liked the OVA a lot but the anime...not so much. I have a huge dislike towards Onodera or any character who's obviously head over hills with someone but don't want to admit it. I'd understand that situation with a teenager but he's a man already for those childish behaviors. Takano, on the other hand, is made of win!!! but he should really stop forcing himself on Ritsu and confess his feelings like an adult....like "I love you and would like to go out with you, what do you feel about me? if you say now that you don't like me I will never bother you again."....I bet that will put some sense in Ritsu's head!

The second couple was MEH. Didn't care about them, too boring and didn't like the "love triangle"...can't even remember their names and skipped their last episode.

I love the 3rd couple though, Yukina and Kisa, they saved the show for me and will keep watching the anime (if there's a second season) because of them!

Mine was also an accident the mere thought of 2 guys together disgusted me back then (I was only 15 and surrounded only by homophobes) but my brother and I used to buy a new anime every month from the game store. One day he came mad at home saying that the anime he wanted was sold out so he bought one for me....he thought I'd like it because the cover had 2 cute guys and he knows what kind of anime guys I like ^^ I watched it without knowing that it was BL, and I was hooked for life!!! 6 years later and I'm still a yaoi fan!

I absolutely love this series, and I'm a guy (I know this genre is not meant for me but being that it's my preference, I wanted to see what it was about). The focus in the anime versions is appealing to me overall in relationship focus, storyline, and animation. I kind of want to be a manga editor myself now. I like how the setting of the story takes place in an ordinary world, where people work and the characters are in their mid 20s like me, which I can relate to and captures me more into the storyline. I'm actually very interested in seeing how Shungiku Nakamura will resolve this series along with other works. Thank you for putting out such a wonderful story.

Also thank you Crunchyroll for putting this up, I probably would have not watched this in the first place, but I gave it a shot, loved it, and it made me want to see Junjou Romantica, which I also loved. This is my third time to rewatch the episodes and I'm picking up on a few extra details that I had not seen the first time around. I have also read the manga versions which are more graphic but capture more detail.

I can't wait for the next volume of episodes. I might go ahead and get a premium membership just so I can see them as soon as possible since the series picks up again in October. Crunchyroll proclaims that they air premium episodes one hour after airing in Japan, which is something definitely worth getting eventually for me. As long as it has subtitles, I'm in.

I didnt like yaoi either until I stumbled upon Gravitation and loved it ever sense. You wont know you like it until you try!

To the male poster above me, true yaoi is aimed at 20 something females, however, most of the people I have meet that also share my interest in yaoi have been straight guys. One of my best friends finds the loves stories more epic because the characters usually have to overcome so much. Also get the premium subscription you wont regret it. If you want message me in October and I will give you a guest pass that I have piling up and you can try it out.

This anime is tame for yaoi compared to Junjou, it's more shounen ai. I will say that it is a very funny show, so if you can get over a few man kisses it is definitely worth a watch. It had me in tears the entire run just in takano-onodero banter lol

Well... you know ye ol saying "If ya don't like it, don't watch it". However, if you are curious, feel free to explore & you can just stop anytime you want.

The anime, is EXTREMELY tame compared to the manga. The manga content isn't THAT over-powering either. The "yaoi" (I guess) scenes are pretty brief (no sex), and the focus is more on the story. Come to think of it, the manga content & story are balanced quite well anyways.

Interesting though. The genre lable on the anime, leans more toward "shounen-ai" than "yaoi" (which is what it really is).... there is a difference.

I am someone who does not support yaoi too! But i really love this anime! Its really fun to watch cause every time the seducer seduces the seducee. (eg. Takano pins down Onodera and kiss him) I kinda get this excited feeling. ( I am a girl)

I think this anime is pretty safe for those whom dislike or support non-yaoi. It doesnt contain sex scene, just kissing scenes which i think is ok.

However if this 'thing' happens in real life, my opinion of yaoi would differ drastically (as in, I dont support this type of relationships)

Sometime i wonder, me getting excited over all the kissing scenes, is it aright? Am i really mentally sound?

Yep, perfectly fine. It's the people who go "eww, two men kissing, that is gross" who need their head examined. Love is a beautiful thing, don't bash it when it doesn't line up with a limited, narrow-minded vision of what love should be.
