Offline	Permalink Reply Quote Posted 11/9/08 L-L-L-L-LOVE HunterxHunter!!!!!! i love everything about it. from the characters to the story line to the action to the interactions. and since theres a lot of little stories in it it makes it more fun to watch. instead of it being about one big story plot. and by the time u get to the end of the whole anime you would want to re-live the 1st few episodes. its just something i can watch over and over again. but im sad that the manga is always on hiatus from time to time ={

Gon is naive without looking like an idiot the way Naruto and Goku do. The characters actually have back stories and are all unique. The villians are all likable and awesome. And it doesnt follow the boring beat a bad guy, following week, beat a stronger bad guy, next week, another even stronger bad guy storyline.....that gets tedious.....HxH manages to actually have a plot that focuses more on adventure and character growth then about the characters becoming stupid strong. The hunter exam storyline is the best. I really wish the manga was more consistent. The art in the individual chapters was horrendous, so I stopped reading. Just waiting for the scanned tankoubon releases, since the art has been redone and is better....or so I hear.

Just waiting for the scanned tankoubon releases, since the art has been redone and is better....or so I hear. i agree! =D even though it seems like a "beat the bad guy and then beat stronger bad guys" type of series its really not. theres so many plot twists and they also give each character their own back ground episodes(which are all also very entertaining and interesting) and they make it really hard to hate the bad guys. =\
