They system was invaded by someone so they brought the entire psn down and now they are rebuilding psn to add new security so it could still be days before its back up =\.

although this could be worse than just losing acces to PSN for a while. Sony just confirmed the theft of Personal information and isn't ruling out the possibility that credit card info may also be compromised

It's quite depressing actually. I might have to bust out the ol' Gamecube and PS2 while I wait.
I've taken precautions as far as safety is concerned. I hope Sony get this sorted soon.

Sweet! that hdmi cable makes all the difference in the world, especially if you are upgrading from the old SD YRW cables. At least the single player games will look good while you're playing.
Well, between PSN getting hacked and my 360 having gone all RROD on me, I guess now's as good time as any to catch up on my pile of unfinished DS games. (Radiant Historia and SMT Strange Journey, I'm looking at you!)

Ahaha i've been playing minecraft and Persona 4 whilst PSN has been down it was kinda good because i've been meaning to complete persona 4 for along time its such a great game |
