Strangest present you've ever been given?

A necklace of Saint Michael, the patron saint of war and battle. I was a doubting Christian, more like an agnostic, well on my way to being Atheist, and certainly was not a Catholic and did not believe in Saints...

Edit: thought it was a strange gift, at the time I liked it and thought it was beautiful and wore it all of the time. I have NO idea what happened to it.

A drawing of me.

A 14 year old girl gave it to me and said she liked how I looked. Met her afew times, didn't actually knew her. I'm torn between thinking she was put in the insane asylum for a reason, or was actually just considered insane because of something else.

You mean that something else was that she thought you looked good. You know you have quite the sense of self deprecating humor.

The strangest present I've ever received was a set to build your own rubbish bin.

I was still very young, probably around 5-8, and the present was bought by the mom of one of my childhood friends.

The present came in a box which contained 5 perforated cardboards as well as 8 strings. It was my job to tie the cardboads together
using the strings.
The cardboards' surface was populated by a chaotic accumulation of weird and colourful symbols - animals, clocks, etc.

Back then, when I oppened my present my friend was really ashamed and embarassed. I liked it, though.
