I'm not sure if this is a duplicate
but I'm pretty sure it isn't

Anyway, I have this class assignment for careers and I am told to write a 2 page resume, when I have no work experience what-so-ever

so what exactly do I put in my resume?

I'm sure it is but there probably overrun and the mods may let it slide.

You don't need work experience to write about careers just ask someone. Though I admire your hands on approach, go for it if you can.

Uhh you could also add in any volunteer work you've done ie: helping in some sort of community service group etc... hope it helps ^^

The basic thing in a resume (in my opinion) is a list of education. If you've take some classes, courses or lessons outside of school, list it!
Also write something about your good qualities and interests. Pin-pointing the qualities can be a little tricky so ask a friend or whoever who knows you well enough. Don't be scared to exaggerate...not too much though =)
Remember: You're supposed to "sell" yourself

My resume after 14 years with at least as many jobs and some college barely fills 1 page.

But any unusual classes both in and outside of school, sports etc, is good to put in if you dont have any experience.

You can also do this:

Replace the "work experience" section with "extra-curricular activities".

In the extra curricular section, put any volunteering you did and any clubs you were in. Add as many bullet points explaining what you did that explain what you did at the job and any leadership-py/mature sounding things (helped a lost orphan, counted cash, etc..)

Be sure to added "Hard-working" and "Strong communication skills" too.

Oh also, don't lose your resume after you finish it. You'll be glad in 2-6 years you kept it when you need it. Good luck!
