No not yet although I feel like my online friend is just going to blow me off and take someone else to our local anime convention this year. I mean even though we only met once it was fun and I want to hang out again, but its like he is distancing himself away from me on purpose I've been feeling that alot lately since when we met last year online and we were very close since we both had the same interests and all we used to practically talk all day long. Now its like are conversations are getting shorter and shorter now I'm just waiting for the time when he drops the bombshell on me telling me to bug off for good that he don't need me anymore.

I've been stood up before, it's no fun.

I have cancelled plans before, but I don't think I've ever stood anyone up. Well, unless you count doctors and such. I have missed appointments without calling, because of my anxiety. I feel bad when I do it, so I've been working on not missing any appointments and calling beforehand if I'm going to miss one. Progress...

Aww. I'm always wanting not to get involved with others though when they insist then I make some effort to do the same. I'm really difficult and if they're so willing to get to know me better I can't say no.

I otherwise don't show up for appointments because of a decent enough reason.

I've never been stood up, but i can imagine how it feels. It's so messed up for people to agree to something only to back out of it last minute.

No.... Most likely it would be me who stood people up since they are nothing more then parasites to me

I was in grade 11. I waited more than 2 hours for him in the fucking cold. It sucks being stood up. I'm always late for things, so I assumed he was just REALLY late. I waited forever. It's real embarrassing and does not feel good at all. I try to call people when I'm late or can't attend a day before. It's only proper. It really sucks being stood up by someone.

Just for the record, I got him back. It took 2 years to get my opportunity, but I stood him up as well. Don't know how long he waited, pretty sure not as long as me though. He probably didn't get it as bad as me either, considering I waited during the cold winter for him. He had to wait during the summer. Fucker

I told a girl I was going to the bathroom half way through a movie and left. In my defense she was being a biiiiotch. Oh and she was driving so I didn't feel bad even for a second.

I've been stood up before, but the worst part about it was that she had already been my girlfriend for a couple months... I think the worst incident with this girl would have to be Christmas 2010. She invited me over for a Christmas Eve get-together with her family, and in the middle of it, she got a call from one of her friends who was at a pub drinking. Not only does she leave to go drinking with her friend, she doesn't even have the sense to invite me... That was so embarrassing and very awkward, especially because the night was actually going really well.

I've never stood up a girl before, and if I ever do, there will probably be a damn good reason.

Well I don't know if this counts but...

Friend: GO ON FACEBOOK CHAT!
Me: Okay sure

And I don't get to. . . .

I've never been stood up in a sense of actually waiting somewhere for a person that doesn't show up. But just several weeks ago one of my friends made plans with me, and said he'd give me a call in the morning of that day and then never called, and just went with other people. I was kinda mad, even though it wasn't exactly a settled plan

I've done this quite often because of anxiety. I try not to, but it still happens.

However, I don't believe I've stood anyone up, and I've never been stood up. I usually turn people down immediately anyway, so I don't think I have to worry about that too much.

I have definitely stood up my doctor, hair stylist, and dentists. I have appointment phobia especially when it's important <I have improved though when I do make appointments I go but I avoid making them as much as possible... As far as people not being paid by me to allot their time no I have never stood someone up. I frequently cancel my plans but I call. My friends love and hate me. pshhh.

Haven't been stood up, haven't stood anyone up. I'm not a type of guy to stand anyone up, if plans change, its a top priority for me to notify the person. Can't imagine how it feels though, sounds terrible. I think I was about to stand up one of my girlfriends due to me putting off calling her when the change of plans happened a day before, but managed to call her just as she was getting ready to leave her house
