Probably 3D Dot Game Heroes. A hugely entertaining Zelda clone with a unique graphical style, worth a look if you can find it.

I really liked Star Ocean: The Last Hope. Just make sure to get the international version so you can play it with Japanese audio. Rumor has it that there may be a new Star Ocean in development.
A tad off topic, the Ys series and Lunar: Silver Star Harmony on the PSP are awesome too.

In my opinion the best JRPG for PS3 is Final Fantasy XIII. The amount of gameplay is immense and the graphics are amazing. Other good ones include Cross Edge, Valkyria Chronicles, and Resonance of Fate. Metal Gear Solid 4 was super epic if you can even count it as a JRPG...  |

Really one of the few JRPGs I've brought for the PS3 and it's pretty good called Trinity Universe, though I do hate the characters Etna & Flonne they both annoy me.

Star Ocean: Last Hope International --- PS3
Best game by far for the ps3 other than FFXII, but I guess it depends on which one you play first, I played this before final fantasy 13 so I kept myself thinking it was better :/.
Oh I found something that pissed me off in Star Ocean: Till the End of Time, the weapons don't show up in cutscenes for the international version (only their starting weapons show), but in the XBOX360 version the weapons do show up :(. I really wanted to see Arumat holding a giant red scythe instead of a purple one...
Can't wait till FFXIII-2 and FFXIII Versus come out though, they should be much better than both.
Also:
Disgaea 3, but it's more of a Tactical RPG.

Definitely Star Ocean The Last Hope International! Also, Disgaea 3, Final Fantasy XIII AND YES RESONANCE OF FATE!!! Haven't played Ar tonelico and Atelier Rorona but I heard they were pretty fun as well. |

Resonance of Fate was amazing!
Other than that I don't have many JRPGs for the PS3 besides Disgaea 3 which is cool, Record of Agarest War Zero, and Atelier Rorona

There is a massive shortage of JRPG's on the PS3..... that being said, I think all the award winners have already been appropriately named however I am surprised less people liked Eternal Sonata.... If anyone reading this (particularly those who like the tales series) has not played it, its totally worth it and relatively cheap now.

wow i have some many jrpgs on ps2 but only one for ps3 then i remember that they made the atelier series continue on ps3. I hope those games are good *crosses fingers*
