Um...
Card Holder: What is the chance of you finding that owner of the card. I probably cut it up.
wallet with $$$: I keep the money throw away the wallet. hahaaaa
phone/ipod/camera/laptop/etc: Phone toss it/ipos i keep/camera depends on what kind but I keep/laptop I keep.

Usually I consider me luck if I find such a thing.

I would return everything I found, even if its $ 1, 000, 000. 00. It is against my ethics and virtues to NOT return it. Wahehe, jk, of course Ill get it and spend it to annihilation! Wahehe.

card holder Card holder, i assume you mean credit cards. if i found credit cards, i would look up the name on the cards in the phone book or call teh number on the back of the card to report that i had found it and ask where they would like me to send it.
If i'm in a retail store when i find the cards, i would turn them into the employees of the store. They might know the customer who lost them.
(I'd hate to lose my credit cards...)

wallet with $$ It depends on where i find it. If i find it in a store, i'd turn it into the store personnell. If i'm out in the woods or something, in a park, something like that.. i'd turn it into the police, after being nosy of course. but i wouldn't take anything. it's not mine and i'm sure the owner would be delighted to know that there are honest people still left in the world. - Cash laying on the ground with no wallet... that's a WHOLE other story..
~When i was coming out of a store during late summer, i got to my car, and dropped my keys (holding too many bags at once) when i bent down to pick up my keys i found a wad of money sitting on the ground under the edge of my car. I hadn't noticed it when i pulled in.. So i picked it up and stuck it in my pocket. Turns out it was $150. wrapped up. So i was happy. :)

phone/ipod/camera/laptop/etc I've found people's cells before.. when i find them... if they aren't locked, i call the number listed as "home" or "mom" or something of the sort, and tell them i found their phone and ask where i shoudl send it/ drop it off at. - Most people are very pleased to get ther phone back. I've never found a laptop, but i know how much i spent on mine... so i would try to return it to the owner.. if there's an "if found call" i would call that number.
It's no skin off my back, and i would hope that if i lost mine, that someone would do the same for me.

book/not book/ dairy I'd be nosy as all hell... I'd read it and see if there's anything interesting.. (this is like randomly finding one. like in a public place not reading one of my friend's diaries) When i'm done reading it, i'd prolly just throw it away, unless there were private numbers in there.. or pictures.. if there were photos in the diary i'd try to find the owner, or turn it into the business nearest to where i found it. I'm heartless sometimes, but not with pics... i mean what if that pic of that guy stuffed in the pages is someone who's dead and that was thier only pic?
But that's just me.

your honest... you turn everything you find xD glad to lose my "something" to a person like you

hmmmm I usually return things to ppl if I see them drop something, otherwise I just leave it alone, if I randomly come across something someone has left somewhere, it's not my problem.

well if I found something like that I would return it. but I I dont see who the owner is, well its mine.I cant give it to the lost and found coz there is no such thing in my place.but maybe ill give it to the police if its a really important thing(like a birthcertificate or something like that). but if its a money....well ill go to the media so I can see my self on tv as a hero who returned something important! I just think.... What if it were me that lost this? I'd be tempted... oh i'd be very tempted... especially if it were cash... but being honest and returning things to their owner is the better thing to do... Besides... Kharma will catch up to you..

It actually makes me very sad that so many people would just take it. The sense of honesty and doing what's right has just gone down the drain. No wonder why the baby-boomers are worried about the nation. I don't blame them. Look at what all these people would do, rather then the right thing.
