maby u do not no what i am talking about, but i have seen many anime where there is love but they do not show it.
like in ranma 1/2, in most off the eps u do not see it but some time they show it to u but after that there is no real relationship.
and the leave it to ower inmagion to resort it, why why i want to see some love.
or in naruto, hinata have feelings for naruto but why not let them have a relationship in the serie.
that is what i miss in some series, what do u think

Probably because the japanese are a socially awkward people who can't express their romantic feelings well even in fantasy. Now imagine that people making these animes are the worst of the worst when it comes to social skills.

Seconding this. While shounen series will sometimes hint at possible relationships, shoujo series are the ones that will actually include relationships.

Hm, most of the anime I watch (on the rare occasions I even watch anymore) are usually shonen romances. I got bored with cookie cutter shonen action long ago. Kanon, Air, Onegai series, etc. Typically stuff based off of Eroge (or so similar it might as well be). I think there is a great deal of relationship development as well as it being the primary focus of the anime itself.

I not too long ago just finished Assate No Houkou, a shonen romance anime that I thought was quite good and had a great deal of focus on the relationships of the characters.

^^ o_o Well, consider my mind blown. I had no idea there were such things as shounen romances.

^ In nearly every Prince of Tennis volume, there were polls to see who the most popular characters were.
