Can they at least PLEASE parade his corpse around the nation so we can all spit on his body? Obama... you're almost out of your position. End your presidency with a BAMF! & a giant middle finger at your enemies.

It just goes to show how strange a person's karma can be; even the people who are born with all the best advantages can throw them away in the pursuit of hatred. Osama Bin Laden may not look like it lately, but he was a very well educated, wealthy man. Mortality finds the best hiding places.

I really wonder what in Osama's life caused him to pursue war, while people like Siddhartha Gautama, who after being rich and having everything, left to pursue paths to peace and try and find a way to end suffering.

Makes ya wonder aye?

Probably. He was a house hold name. It's big news. It's absolutely not possible to to kill him and not make world news. Not in a world with social media, internet, and an ever increasingly unified world view.

I don't see it as a victory. Death isn't something to celebrate. Violence isn't something to bring joy. Peace is the truest victory and there is no peace, yet.

This news is so full of negative potential for controversy, rumors, propaganda, and/or conspiracy theories. I've already heard everything from "He's still alive" to "He's been dead for 10 years now."

It depends on your perspective. Needless loss of life is not something to celebrate. Osama wasn't someone who understood that. He perpetuated the killing of innocent people to get his point across. He also wanted to impose his view of religion, oppression of women and the like. This isn't the celebration of death like the extremist did when 9/11 happened, but more the idea that someone who wronged innocent people was brought to justice. I think that all reasonable people can agree that Osama was not someone who handed out candy and helped old ladies across the street.

It's far from a victory. We killed the CIA's own Clandestine agent. He was our bitch, and then he became a blowback.

I seem to be the only one that is taking this as an issue of timing.

Why now? Why out of nowhere does this happen?

Yes I'm as happy as any proud american that he was killed and is going to rot in hell. I just think this was timed to happen now, when it should've happened many years ago.

I just can't disclose what I mean by "timing".....what I'll say will cause a flame war.
