Pokemon Platinum Version was released for the Nintendo DS, not the Game Boy. The Game Boy Pokemon games consist of Red Version, Blue Version, Yellow: Special Pikachu Edition (which is the best of the first generation), the Japanese Green Version, Gold Version, and Silver Version. By the way, for anyone who lives in the USA and has a copy of Pokemon Black Version or Pokemon White Version, if you pop down to Toys R Us, you can download a special egg for your game. You can obtain a Pidove or a Pansage with it's attack stat ready to be maxed out, or an Axew with it's speed stat ready to be maxed out. What your egg will hatch into will be determined based on several of your game's various data, such as your Trainer ID number. |

I don't live in USA, but i played Pokemon Platinum for Gameboy (i have gameboy on my computer, i don't know if there is Platinum to buy somewhere, try to download it and you will see) |

I like the first two generations (red.blue,green,yellow,gold,silver and crystal) because there is no worry about EVs and IVs I ¯◡◡¯
but i still like the EVs and IVs stuff is just that is a pain to waste alot of time hatching eggs until you get the perfect combination |
