No, what you should do is log out of your account and then gift the Mother's Day Special to yourself. If your current membership was payed directly to CR with a credit card or CR Bucks then you shouldn't need to do anything else. Current premium users who have payed CR with PayPal, as a precaution should go to PayPal and remove the approved recurring payments there. Then you will find the gifted membership added to your account with a prepaid status and will activate automatically once the current membership expires.
