1. Do you drink alcohol? Have you tried it yet? Will you drink it, if you haven't?

No, I don't plan to, I don't trust how I would act drunk except that it would be very bad.

2. Is there anything morally or ethically wrong about drinking alcohol, in your opinion?

No, it is your choice, the only wrong thing is when you drink without taking precautions and hurt someone because of it.

3. Is drinking alcohol healthy or unhealthy? Perhaps certain kinds you think are unhealthy, like liquor, versus healthier red wine?

Unhealthy, in nearly all cases the liver damage and potential for other injuries as a result of being drunk are far greater than whatever small benefits it might entail. Further the benefit of drinking a single glass of red wine can be gotten from other sources that are safer.

4. What is moderation to you? What is drinking to excess?

I do not know, nor do I intend to try to find out.

5. Is it wrong or okay for minors to drink a small amount of alcohol, such as wine at dinner with the family once in a while?

Considering most will sneak it later anyway it doesn't really matter, at least when you are letting them have it you can see what they are drinking and be sure they don't overdo it. (When I was 16 on new years I was "highly encouraged" to drink some white wine, I nearly threw up it was so awful).

I rather smoke weed. Being drunk is fun, but getting drunk kind of sucks, since you have to taste the nasty flavor of alcohol.

When I drink, I drink something hard with a chaser that almost completely gets rid of the sickening flavor of alcohol. I just like the feeling of being drunk.

Booze is an evil attractor of boring 12 steppers and droning do-gooder mormon types. Best to stay away, lest you get attacked by those greater evils.

1. Do you drink alcohol? Have you tried it yet? Will you drink it, if you haven't?
Nope. Nope. Nope.

2. Is there anything morally or ethically wrong about drinking alcohol, in your opinion?
Yup. God’s Law prohibits its consumption. (Side note: Also, any crime committed under the influence of alcohol should be charged strictly when the consumption of the alcohol was voluntary. Too much leniency going on there and too many people dying because of it.)

3. Is drinking alcohol healthy or unhealthy? Perhaps certain kinds you think are unhealthy, like liquor, versus healthier red wine?
Alcohol and intoxicants have more harm than benefits according to God’s Law. Regardless of that fact, if God prohibits its consumption then there’s no need to discuss its limited benefits.

4. What is moderation to you? What is drinking to excess?
Any drink to me is a drink too many. Moderation? Drinking just your fill…of non-alcoholic drinks. =]

5. Is it wrong or okay for minors to drink a small amount of alcohol, such as wine at dinner with the family once in a while?
Not according to what I believe. Being a minor—whatever the age is taken to be in that particular location—does not matter.

I dislike it first and foremost because I shouldn’t like it. Second of all, I dislike it for all the negative reasons everyone else hates it for.

Now if we were to discuss smoothies...

Girls, there is nothing less sexy in this world than a girl with a beer belly (which you can get from any kind of alcoholic drink and not just beer) or being totally pissed with make-up all over the place and barely able to resemble a human. It's disgusting and you have been warned

Sir, just about every 18-21 year old Canadian girl desperately need to be told this, especially the one's in my city... The ones that are 22+ and still stuck in that phase are probably beyond help.

I don't know what Bible you're reading, but alcohol is a gift from God. It's only the overindulgence in alcohol that's considered a sin and frowned upon. I really hope you're a troll.

1. Do you drink alcohol? Have you tried it yet? Will you drink it, if you haven't?
Damn rights i have drank alcohol, good times.
2. Is there anything morally or ethically wrong about drinking alcohol, in your opinion?
Everyone needs their vice and its better then bringing out lines of coke or beating up random people so i think its good, all in moderation of course.
3. Is drinking alcohol healthy or unhealthy? Perhaps certain kinds you think are unhealthy, like liquor, versus healthier red wine?
Its obviously unhealthy but what thing that makes you feel like that isn't unhealthy?
4. What is moderation to you? What is drinking to excess?
Moderation is not getting drunk every weekend and some weekdays (Unless you are in highschool, 18, or 19 then its acceptable since its your party mode era). Know when you have had too much so you dont go puking and having a shitty day then following morning.
5. Is it wrong or okay for minors to drink a small amount of alcohol, such as wine at dinner with the family once in a while?
Perfectly fine, they are going to be getting wasted in high school anyways (Unless you are one of those edge straight A's students) so i dont see the problem with them having small amounts at get togethers.

1. Do you drink alcohol? Have you tried it yet? Will you drink it, if you haven't?
Yes... I first had wine when I was quite young. My first "party" with underage drinking was at 13. I would advise against anyone that young getting drunk... many teenagers don't understand the serious reprocussions that can happen when alcohol is abused or the unforgettable mistakes you might make drunk. (That being said, in answer to #5 I think it is fine for minors to drink a small amount of alcohol with their families. More on that below). My first time drunk, I blacked out, fell in a swimming pool, and almost drowned. If my friend didn't decide to go swimming with her boyfriend, I would be dead right now. Now, at 25, I drink in moderation and socially. I normally just have wine with dinner or a few drinks with friends. I don't think there is anything wrong with that. Once you are an adult or mature enough, it's your decision whether or not you want to consume alcohol, no one else's. On those rare occassions when I do go out and go beyond my normal limits, I still always make sure that I am sober enough to not do anything I will regret. I haven't blacked out, thrown up, said or done anything I regret or wouldn't do without alchol since I was a teenager.

2. Is there anything morally or ethically wrong about drinking alcohol, in your opinion?
No, as long as the person is drinking responsibly. When a person just "drinks to get drunk," that's when alcoholism enters the picture. Someone doesn't have to be drunk every day of the week to be an alcoholic. If they drink with that mentality, there is a problem. Otherwise, I find no moral or ethical problem with drinking. Not everyone drinks to just lower their inhibitions. Some people actually enjoy the taste of alcohol... is there anything wrong with being a wine conniseur? I also don't think one adult's decision to drink alcohol should be judged by others. The only time another person should step in is if there is a legitimate concern about the person is if they are an alcoholic or on the path to becoming one.

3. Is drinking alcohol healthy or unhealthy? Perhaps certain kinds you think are unhealthy, like liquor, versus healthier red wine?
Anything in excess is unhealthy. If you take too many vitamins, you can cause yourself to get sick. Drinking in excess is no different. Everyone knows that excessive long-term drinking can cause liver problems or death. On the other hand, having a glass of red wine a day is good for your heart. Drinking 1 - 2 beers a day can help prevent strokes. Also, consuming a small amount of alcohol each day and then, say for example, going out and drinking a lot one day during the week and not drinking at all the rest of that week, is much more healthy. It helps the body process alcohol, it helps prevent the "beer belly", and helps the person become less affected by the alcohol they are consuming en masse. I am epileptic, and under my doctor's orders, I am supposed to drink 1 - 2 light beers a day (slowly, not slamming them), so that if I do consume a larger amount of alcohol than normal, it takes away the chances of having a mini-seizure.

4. What is moderation to you? What is drinking to excess?
Moderation is different for everyone. Excess is the same for everyone. Drinking to excess stems from the notion of "drinking to get drunk" and that's it. If a person has that mindset everytime they drink, or everytime they are in a certain mood, then they are on the road of the alcoholic. It really isn't the quantity of alcohol consumed, it's the reason you are consuming alcohol. That being said, drinking to the point where it endangers your health... possible alcohol poisoning, having your stomach pumped, getting into an accident, totally losing your inhibitions,etc.... that is drinking to excess as well.

5. Is it wrong or okay for minors to drink a small amount of alcohol, such as wine at dinner with the family once in a while?
I think it is absolutely fine. The drinking age varies all over the world... people simply can't put a definite stamp on the age a person is mature enough to handle the effects of alcohol on their own. Drinking a small amount with the family takes those adult decisions away from the consumer and leaves them in the hands of adults able to make them. The only exception in this case would be an alcoholic giving their own child alcohol.

If you dislike alcohol, please explain why.
I dislike alcohol in one way. If someone drinks to excess, accidentally or not, mistakes can happen and hurt other people. Whether it be drunk driving or accidentally cheating on your significant other or many other things. Just because you can trust yourself around alcohol doesn't mean you can trust other people with it as well, and if you surround yourself with people who do just drink to get drunk or drink to excess, the hurt one can be you. It's important that when choosing your friends or the person you date, you agree with their views on alcohol as well.

You do know in the Bible that Jesus turned water into wine? He also drank with his disciples. Drunkeness may be a sin according to the Bible, but drinking a healthy, moderate amount is not. The excess of anything in the Bible is a sin, and alcohol is viewed the same way. I can understand if you feel that you shouldn't drink, because you are trying to avoid the temptation to drink into overindulgence; but God's Law does not prohibit its consumption when it is done in moderation.

Sorry if I sounded like I was referring to the Bible. I'm referring to the Qur'an.

1. Do you drink alcohol? Have you tried it yet? Will you drink it, if you haven't?
I don't drink it, but I've had it.

2. Is there anything morally or ethically wrong about drinking alcohol, in your opinion?
I hate the word moral. However, I don't find anything wrong with drinking alcohol as long as you don't get piss-ass drunk every night. And if you do, please stay away from me because I'd rather not be around piss-ass drunk people.

3. Is drinking alcohol healthy or unhealthy? Perhaps certain kinds you think are unhealthy, like liquor, versus healthier red wine?
It's unhealthy. I don't feel like going into an explanation of why alcohol is unhealthy. I think most people know it can cause damage to the liver.

4. What is moderation to you? What is drinking to excess?
As long as speak coherently and function relatively normally, it's fine. If it goes beyond that, it's excess.

5. Is it wrong or okay for minors to drink a small amount of alcohol, such as wine at dinner with the family once in a while?
I don't find any problem with it in those cases.

I don't drink much alcohol myself because I don't like the taste. There have only been a couple of alcoholic drinks that I've liked. Also, I'm a minor, I'd be in some trouble if I got caught by the wrong person. I can't handle alcohol very well, either, and I'd rather not embarrass myself by becoming totally hammered.

1. Do you drink alcohol? Have you tried it yet? Will you drink it, if you haven't?

I do drink alcohol. I've been known to get drunk at parties/social gatherings, but I'm not a stupid drunk, I'm a little more talkative when I've been drinking but other than that, I just make sure I don't do anything stupid.

2. Is there anything morally or ethically wrong about drinking alcohol, in your opinion?

I don't think there's anything wrong with drinking alcohol. If Jesus turned water into wine, then I don't see a problem with drinking it. I know Muslim people do not drink because it's against their religion, I've discussed that before with a friend at work who is Muslim.

3. Is drinking alcohol healthy or unhealthy? Perhaps certain kinds you think are unhealthy, like liquor, versus healthier red wine?

Moderation is the key. I don't think a beer or two after a rough day at work every once in a while is unhealthy. Not that it's healthy either.

4. What is moderation to you? What is drinking to excess?

Drinking to excess to me would be drinking to get drunk every weekend or more.

5. Is it wrong or okay for minors to drink a small amount of alcohol, such as wine at dinner with the family once in a while?

When I was in my mid teens it wasn't uncommon for me to be allowed to have 1 beer or a glass of wine at a family dinner, like Easter or Christmas. I don't think it hurt me in any way.
