What is your response/reaction on this fairly common term that we people use nowadays the: "google it" term.

ie: Whenever you ask a serious or a random question to a person and they respond with "uhh.. google it"

I'll just never help that person if they ask me any questions, I'd tell them to fuck off.

I hate that response so much.

Sorry, what? I actually thought this was a thread about the VOCALOID song.

I guess I was wrong, huh? Damn. To be serious, I hate it. People are too lazy to give me the information they have? And they're excuse is "Well your th lazy one"? What the hell?

I hate it, but I love the VOCALOID song.

It works for when you want someone to look up something vulgar that you don't want to explain yourself.

well I kinda use that term when they were asking for some meaning of words [when I'm having a difficulty explaining it myself] XD but when it's some personal issues, it's not funny to tell it.

It is very annoying.

It is kinda like when people start a thread, and the first post under the thread they started is, "topic has already been done before"
They don't post the link to the original topic, or bother answering the OP's question.

It's a legit response for when you can't give an appropriate answer. Other times it's just cool to say it in a moment like:

'Hey what does mangina mean?' 'Bro you're a mangina, and I keep telling you Google it.'

I have a friend who uses that term like .. a lot.
I personally find it annoying like she's not being serious.
If you don't know the answer then just say so.

i only use the term when talking to a person who spends most of his free time in front of a computer but doesn't know shit about using it aside from facebook and online games.

If I can't explain something myself, I would tell them to Google it.

"I'm outside, and I need the info now, I haven't got a fucking I-Phone like you so tell me what I need to know before I ram all £30 a month of Blackberry up your arse!" Graaaa!

I love it, I use it all the time before I lock a personal thread asking something very easy which they can just google themselves. ;]

I have personally never heard it said to anyone in my daily life xD i mean just grow up and actually tell them what they want to know...why be so childish? telling them to google it only reassures me that you dont know what your talking about

They're just too lazy to answer my question!

As I'm too lazy to google it.
