It depends on the situation. Sometimes googling it is the best option. Often, I'm happy to explain. I enjoy talking, usually.

It's my catchphrase that usually ends up with the response, "Mehhhh.... I'm too lazy to... Why don't you do it?"

I don't think there's anything wrong with it. Sometimes you really don't know that answer to something. I say it sometimes, but not to be rude. I seriously mean to "Google it". It's how I find a lot of answers to stuff.
And I don't really see how that's lazy, seeing as how I'm not the one wanting the answer. If anyone's lazy, it's the person asking me because they didn't have the energy to go look it up themselves...

I haven't had anyone tell me to go "google it." Well, maybe once but other than that... Never.

My Math teacher says it all the time; it doesn't bother me much because I know I will forget it. I say it only if I can't find a way to explain things thoroughly. Though honestly, it's rare for me to say "google it".

It just tells me that what I asked may or may not be too unpleasant to want to say out loud.

I use it if the asker doesn't understand or is too stupid to comprehend my answer. It's my way of saying, "Have some one else explain it, I'm done."

I think that's rather rude to tell someone to "google it" I mean if you don't want to bother explaining something yourself, then there's no point in mentioning it in the first place!

It doesn't bother me. I sometimes use it when the person refuses to look up something for themselves.
