One of my first jobs was a movie theater when I was 16.

I live in North America and it was just a normal employee job.
My interview was right after school so I drove there with my friend in the passenger seat.
Told him i'de be back in like 10 minutes then I forgot about him and took more like a half hour.

That was a cool job for teens and worked there untill I was 19 or 20. I met lots of girls and got into free movies every damn day.

First legit job was at an electronics store when I was 18. A sexy older Asian lady gave me the interview and I'm pretty sure she hired me cuz she was hurtin' for a squirtin'. Dude, just try to sound like a huge push over ready to dedicate your life and soul to the job.

I'm always very confident through interviews. No one could resist my smile--except if it's a phone interview. Those make me beyond nervous. Haven't failed in one yet though ._.

First interview was when I was 15. I just smile, answer, smile some more and act cute. Man or women, it always works.

If you are being interviewed by the opposite sex ya.. If not, just act knowledgeable in that field you are applying for or show how determine and motivated you are to get that job

It wouldn't matter if it's the opposite sex or not. Smiling and acting cute is the key. Presenting yourself in a likable matter will always get you hired. I know plenty of people who showed determination and motivation yet didn't get hired since they looked like a robot well talking
It's all about facial expressions and showing them you're a happy go lucky person. ^___^

What continent you're one.
North America
What job you applied for.
Network Tech.

(I had previously carried a job at a local flower shop when I was 15 but I didn't interview for that one since the owner was a friend of the family.)

Came in right out of high school and was 30 minutes early. Had to wait an hour for the boss to get in, and then 3 of the supervisor/managers came in too. I was asked the usual questions like what kind of person are you, strong traits, how well you get along with people, possible work hours. There were also a lot of casual ones like 'Do you play WoW' and 'What video games do you play?' and so forth. I smiled, laughed, and answered their questions as best I could. Made sure to make a lot of eye contact, and shook their hands more than once, as well as remembering your please and thank you's. I got the job on the spot and clocked in that day and I'm still employed here. This particular interview was extremely relaxed though, so I guess I got lucky.

Sigh, You forgot the continent, job and age at the time fields.... No worries! You can just make up for that whenever we go out for coffee ;).

Anyway, Kippu, that's almost exactly what I did, what you just said. Although being cute for me doesn't work(I'm a guy). I got hired, but the pay is despicable, 7.25$ an hour is terrible but I can accumulate for hours the more I work. it's 4.35 PM now. I go in a few minutes!

My first interview was at 16 at a family-owned ice cream shop called the Twist. I had purple hair. Think I got the job? lol

My first REAL job interviews, I got the job.

Happiness and determination, smiling and eager.

Mine was very informal to be honest...
I was 18 and it was a job for waitressing at the local hotel. Basically they just wanted a feel for my personality and to make sure I didn't have a gazillion piercings and bright green hair...

My first interview went well I suppose (I got the job), but I was so nervous and sweating bullets since I'm a pretty shy guy.

What made it worse was the guy interviewing me was gay. Not that I have anything against gay people. Be who you want to be. I was just completely caught off guard. The guy even told me he found me attractive in so many words. I was totally unprepared.
