Your first interview.

I wasn't ready for it, the boss from the meat market just started asking me questions.
I probably would have gotten it if I would have remembered that I didn't have a home phone anymore
and to write down my damn cellphone instead, aw well. baka

For my job in Game it was quite straightforward and he basically just asked me a little about myself, if I knew how to use tills and if I like games. Yes to all and I got the job and am still there happily helping customers buy expensive consoles and games for their spoiled brats. We get really busy xmas time and get grannies coming in trying to buy games for their grandkids or something, gets pretty funny.

Luckyass! I want a job at an AMC theater >:c !!

Also hmmm, my 1st interview (and last interview) was during the summer. My friend and I went job searching because our parents forced us too find a summer job. We applied to some down the street from our school, but most of them weren't hiring. Then we came across a Marshall clothing store, they said they always hired so we filled our applications.

A couple days later, I was helping the same friend study for a college entrance exam and I got a call for a interview. We were both happy but I felt bad for my friend who didn't get a call back ^^"

I went to the interview very nervous and I arrived about 20 minutes early. Soon the manager showed me to a small room and we introduced each other. Then she started asking a whole bunch of questions but I tired my best to answer each one.

In the end, I didn't get the job. The manger wanted someone joyful and peppy ..like a cheerleader >.>" and I was too shy and quiet.

I told my friend what happened and she said, "It's because she doesn't know the real you! You're quiet at first but then you get all hyper and loud! That's you're personality!" And my dad said, "If I was the manger, I hire the quiet one who do their work not the loud annoying ones" XD

My first job was for a new store opening up and they needed new peeps, not quite graduated yet, I went and the lady porceeded to tell me of her BF problems and problems with her boss and people she worked with and then she shook her head and got back to business, then asked where I saw myself when I was her age (32). I told her that I see myself happily married with a white picket fence, 2 children one of each sex, and a dog. I was just joking, but she laughed really hard and told me I was hired. My jaw dropped!

I worked around the farm for a while, but when I was 12, I 'applied' to work at the local butcher's. All he asked was 'Are you South African?' I responded with 'No', and then I got hired. Also, I was in Australia.

my first interview was really easy,i was 17, i went in to apply at a daycare place, i filled out the app right ther, and when i was about to leave after handing it over, the lady was like do you want an interview right now? im said yeah and went straight in

the director looked over my app and said i was over qualified and perfect for the job, she asked me some formal questions and said your hired, i got a tour of the place right on the spot, and they said to come in the next day

it was pretty awesome for a first experience, but they arent all like that, and i was really nervous but got through it

Er...I didn't really interview, but it was a job. $9.95 an hour as a lumberjack, started when I was 15. I live in farm country, so a lot of people need a helping hand. The pay tends to be good, with plenty of free meals and friendship, but the work's hard. It's not unexpected to get woken up at 3:30 AM by an anxious rancher needing help with cattle. Sloughing through the snow or mud, trying to keep the calves alive, or round any escaped cows. I hated that the most, it's really annoying. If they break free, they go everywhere.

The only serious "Job" I had was working for Kevin and his family. This was where I worked as a lumberjack, chopping wood, hauling wood, stacking wood, ugh. It's harsh when it's -20 to -30 out in the freezing blowing snow, having to chainsaw dead trees and load 'em on a truck. but as I said, the bonuses are awesome.

I like living on a farm.

My first job interview was a little weird. I was fresh out of college and I applied to work at this fast food restaurant. During the interview I was asked some rather interesting questions like "Where do you see yourself in five years?" or "What is one thing in your past you regretted that you would want to change?" I suppose most employers like to test you in some ways, but these were very irrelevant questions for a restaurant job. It's not like I was applying for a brilliant position. So watch out for unexpected things like that.
