Funimation should just sell the rights if they aren't going to use them...they stopped dubbing over 300 episodes ago. Fansub groups that sub OP seem to randomly drop it only to have another group come who translates it different and/or releases the video in a different quality.

CR brings the stability, quality, convenience, and consistency to subbing that I feel is important. That's why I donate to show my support and will continue doing so.

I don't know if they stopped dubbing it or not, but they have started subbing one piece =)
They release new episodes of one piece every week with English subs (at the same time it airs in Japan).
Pretty cool now that we can all watch one piece legally with Subs :D

here's the link: http://www.onepieceofficial.com/videos.aspx

[edit] As for this topic: I think CR doesn't have One Piece is because Funimation is already subbing new episodes every week... so there really is no point.

Ah...they was so far behind on the subs that when I put OP on hold I thought they weren't doing them anymore. Didn't know they were starting to a catch up, although it seems they only have the latest episode available, and nothing else proceeding episode ~250.

They do have 'em, but it's linked to hulu's website. It's subbed too.
You have to click on the little text that says "sub only" below the video, and then you can search all their subbed videos.
I see some videos from ep 190s and 180s, so they must have 250s.
Sadly the list isn't in order :\ you'd have to flip through the pages.

Hulu has subbed eps too, here's the link: http://www.hulu.com/search?query=One+Piece&st=0&fs=
But it seems they are streaming new eps every week and trying to catch up subbing the old episodes.
They currently subbed ep 1- 201 and 391 - current.
Perhaps wait til they catch up with the subbing of the old episodes

I actually stopped on ep 465 so I guess I don't need to wait. Thanks for the info.

I tried watching OP weekly years ago, but realized the show progresses too slow for me to enjoy it like that lol. Now I catch up and then take a break for a year so I can watch the ~50 episodes at my leisure. :D

If you feel it progresses too slow, try reading the manga XD
The manga always moves faster :}

One Piece don't have the DVD rights after episode 205. They won't bother dubbing anymore because they wouldn't make anymore money from digital releases.

I think One Piece would do well here, but Funimation has the rights so.

I would never want One Piece airing here, I have a party every Saturday at 10pm for the new episode. The show literally incorporates every manga scene into the anime, each episode covers one manga chapter too. Sorry CR fans, but they ARE still dubbing it and doing a fantastic job of it....One Piece was just ruined in the original 4kids dub...though to license it here would actually be counter productive since there's no fee to watch, and no "one hour wait" from the original stream. It doesn't belong next to Bleach (75% filler) or Naruto (55% filler).

Some faith in humanity has been restored. One Piece is about the worst anime I've ever seen, why the hell is it so damn popular?
