~I mean, can u discipline yourself to not smoke too much a day or puff only a few sticks once in a while because recently, I'm having a hard time resisting the temptation of smoking. I know that nothing good comes from smoking, but I just can't resist the fact that sometimes, I crave for more. Don't misunderstand, I'm not a chain smoker, in fact, I'm trying to have a healthy lifestyle. I eat a lot of protein and carbs, I do a lot of cardio every week. It's just that, smoking does help you feel relaxed a little(I'm sure some regular smokers know what I mean) and it helps people socialize w/ others.I'm just afraid that I might be drawn into smoking in the near future and it might become my habit to smoke every few minutes now and then.

Yes, I have a hard time controlling my urges. I just smoke whenever I feel like. Now that you brought it up, I'm going to smoke.

I only have one or two a day. Brings out the stargazer in me at night. Going to quit when I stop hopping from dollar to dollar.

At least I don't' eat charcoal barbeque burgers. One of those things is worse than an entire pack of cigarettes, and I am talking about the charcoal that smokes into the meat, not the calories. At my rate, it's like I eat a single charcoal burger every month, minus the calories.

Less expensive than one of those suckers too.

I'd rather smoke weed, it's to bad it is illegal. Almost zero health risks besides the mental ones that some people fall into. Actually, weed has a lot of health benefits such as preventing liver cancer, and various other things.

One must wonder why cigarettes that directly kills over 500,000 annually in one nation, is legal when something that directly kills 0 people annually is not.

Perhaps it's because native Americans swore by the stuff for hundreds of years?

I think it's bullshit it's illegal and looked so down upon by most of society. But hey, there's good ways around it. I know that you might be thinking that if you start smoking weed you're going to do cocaine, but it's your choice. I've been offered cocaine, speed, oxy, and some other shit. I have respectfully denied each time and the person offering never asked again. I stick to what mother nature has provided us, marijuana. It's all up to you, no one forces you to try coke, or do it. In anycase, I'm not trying to push anyone to smoking weed. But seeing as how we're all cigarette smokers, I'd assume people have dabbled with weed. I recommend switching over to marijuana, I did and never looked back.

~I respectfully decline. I actually like smoking menthol cigarettes especially when drinking frapuccino. My mouth becomes cool and somewhat refreshed.

Government programs such as the DEA and DPA can't even agree as to why it should remain illegal. The DEA says that it is because other medical drugs can give the same benefits that it does. But that's a lame argument because there are plenty of other registered legal drugs that 'do the same thing', as other registered legal drugs.

The other claim is people in the public who hate it for 'overdose', yet there has never been a documented case of marijuana overdose. Yet with alcohol there are over 5,000 deaths from overdose there.

The other reasoning is short term memory loss. But short term memory loss only happens during consumption, and is only permanent when an extremely large dosage of marijuana is taken. So there's a negative effect to doing too much? Seems like pretty much every single drug out there.

Also, the excuse as it being a 'gateway' drug has not been proven at all. There are no compelling studies to provide any legitimacy to that claim. There may be people who do cocaine after smoking marijuana, but marijuana does not make you incapable of resiting rightfully illegal drugs that will turn you into a empty warehouse corner sitter.
