On the cell phone while drivng?!?!
Posted 5/21/11
It's illegal here without a headset yet people still do it, almost got hit twice in a crosswalk because a call was too important, I would hate to think what would happen if it were little kids there instead of me... Is it really so hard to just check your messages when you park your freaking car? I mean really?

i don't know. i know it's wrong, but i don't see exactly how much harm it can do. i think it depends on the person's alertness levels but that's just me. i wouldn't do it when i learn to drive.

people shouldn't talk on the phone if it effects their driving
but mistakes can happen at any point >.>

I never answer my mobile while driving and if I'm super desperate to make a call I pull over...never needed to. There are just somethings you shouldn't try and multitask

I find even hands free sets distracting! No way, I pull over and answer my phone or ignore it. How am I supposed to change gear with my phone in my hand? Very dangerous and when I see people driving past on the phone I curse. Cocks.

Some asshole guy in an executive car overtook me on double lines (means no overtaking) on his phone and the funniest thing was, we were right next to eachother on the traffic lights later anyway! What was the point in that? I had my window rolled down and just smiled sarcastically and shook my head at him as if to say "You stupid fuckface". If they wanna kill themselves or live with the guilt of killing someone else thats up to them, accept your fate pricks.

I dunno why people in more expensive or faster cars think you should yield to them while driving. On the phone as if to say 'sorry i am or what i have to do is more important' therefore overtaking you like you don't exist. I had the SAME experience with a Ferrari except he was behind me on a one way street I was going as fast as i could without breaking the law, he swerves onto the sidewalk to get around me and yes ON THE CELL PHONE. I dunno i seem to have alot of bad experiences whilst driving >.>

Phone + car = I'm okay.
But text + car = near death experience (not doing it again)

It's against the law, here in Ontario.

It's dangerous. I concentrate too much on my surroundings whenever I am driving and I cannot be distracted. If someone does call me, I just keep it brief and say "I'll call you back later."

What?! That is SO dangerous! He could have hit a pedestrian! Omg, what an utter cock. I have some bad experiences too, I just drive safely and within the law, but that is not some asshole's idea of good driving and they like to think they're better than everyone else. If someone drives too close to you either slow down and let them pass or if you can't do that just ignore them and glance in the mirrors now and then, don't go faster just to please them and just think to yourself "If they hit me, I can sue him so fucking hard."
