I have a question how did you have enough cash for your mom to steal and use it to go to vegas with i mean your 14 after all.

I had $50 that she used for gambling. I earned it by chores and grades

oh the way you made it sound in your first comment it looked like to me that you payed for her whole trip.

Lets just hope. If I hide it I hide it from myself too I'm that type of person. You know the kind who wonders where her toothbrush is at but its already in her mouth type

Someone tried to sleep with my wife (when we were still dating) when she was passed out drunk at a party and I wasnt there. You better believe when I got there tho' and saw him trying to get friendly I dropped the hammer on his ass. Used his head to make some nice craters in the drywall, felt bad tho' cause I didnt know the person who owned the house...

Living to be a ripe old age.....it sucks. But considering the options, death by ???, many of us old duffers opt to live. Vision goes by 40, ideals go sooner, sense of immortality vanishes at 30-something, joints fade out at 55 (especially when the truck you drive still has a clutch and float is not an option or seat is permanent fixture for someone 5' 6" while you are 6' 3" with no legroom). Goals are either unattainable, constantly changing, extant with little or zero time left to make up or reinvent. Health is on a gradual decline path which is more apparent with each 5 year age cohort group. Surprised I'm still here and alive as I figured to be a statistic before achieving age 50 (been in 3 major accidents over lifetime: derailed locomotive that rolled 1987, hurling through windshield at great velocity at age 2 in 1950 from car rollover, steering tire blowout in a big rig 1990). Gave up flying 1991 account cattle are treated better than people...and airlines have gotten worse re passenger rights. But hey, got the wisdom. That and $10 will get you coffee (nectar of the gods....1 of a few things worth living for).

Life is messy, no getting around it unless you're dead.

I got tired of being angry and keeping grudges, in the end when bad stuff happens to them being glad is less tiring

Sounds like the most reasonable thing is this thread. Young people will never realize that they have it too easy...

I've found that containing the rage works a lot better, therefore I've never released any of it. I guess the problems will show when everything get out at once.

Let's just say I've bummed out of 'anger management' about 10 times.....
