I remember as well. The good old days.... everything is better in the past. I also remember when their forums were slow and the streams were flaky as well.

Such is the progress of capitalism. In the end there is no point if money is not made. It is a curse, then again as someone who does web development... good servers and good bandwidth cost A LOT of money... streaming is a VERY expensive thing to do.

I guess I do not mind because I can afford to part with their yearly fee.

I remember when people would accept change instead of ranting about it.

I remember when flocks and flocks of fansub groups (e.g., s3st0r) upload asian music videos here.

I remember when CR used to stream GOOD animes like Claymore, Monster, etc. *sigh* There was a time you could type almost any anime into the search engine and someone would have uploaded the episodes.

I remember how I found a high quality stream version of Gintama for free on a good website. Even without premium it looks very very good compared to the other streaming sites, and crunchyroll does it legal. And doesn't it feel better, supporting the shows you love so they can keep running? And from what I have seen up to now, crunchyroll provides good services, and asks you guys what anime or drama they should buy the rights of next. I think they are doing a great job.

Though I am pretty new on this site, and don't know the " old times". This is by far the best anime site. It doesn't have all shows and it does have a cetrtain paid services, but everything is of high quality even without premium. Crunchyroll, keep doing what you're doing! (Oh and take One Piece as well, I'll be your #1 fan! xD )

I remember the chaotic days of Crunchyroll when trolls trolled, spammers spammed, and bashers bashed with little or no fear of getting a permabanned. You have deal with these sort people every time you post something in the forums.

All of those are now gone, but heck, I dont mind these peaceful days.

I remember when there were really LOTS of active members and online buddies to have a chat with. Groups were very active, there were lots of interesting animes to watch, and CRland was a bit fun because there were lots of cool users to chat with while continuously hitting the attack button :|

Do I count as a veteran? I paid for premium every month when I first got here, but then they started taking down most of the stuff I wanted to watch so then I didn't. It looks like that has been remedied to some extent, but I haven't actually bothered to buy premium again since. Nor have I really been around much, but whatever, I should still count I think... Maybe.
