Do you think Crunchyroll should add the Full Metal Alchemist series to the site!

Wait a minute, Full Metal Alchemist was aniplex I thought?

Aniplex is one of the Japanese companies involved. FUNimation does have all the digital rights to this for the Americas, IIRC.

And I was going to say no need, until I actually checked on a few things for this. Cartoon Network does have a few random episodes of Brotherhood up for viewing (dubbed only). Also, though both Hulu and FUNimation's Youtube channel, there are the first 4 episodes of FMA, and a few episodes of Brotherhood also, but nowhere does the entire series exist. Given that, if CR could negotiate to get the series in its entirety, it may be a worthwhile investment. Though given FUNi's inability to have much more than 4 episodes up from a season, I'd not be surprised if it's a Japanese licensor restriction.

Possible a similar comprise, like Fairy Tale on CR only has the newest 4 or 5 episodes? Also, you're right, it would almost have to be just that, a Japanese licensor restriction, seeing as CR seems to go for the subbed versions of most everything (which I personally do enjoy and prefer =)) And surely Funimation wouldn't necessarily have sole digital rights to them as well. Needless to say, more anime is always better and given the popularity of this particular one in both America and Japan, surely there must be a way

Yes. It's popular and would likely be a top viewed anime! but most less likely to happen
