It have came to my attention that some articles about Japanese voice actress or shows with names like "Yōko Hikasa" for example, the "ō" will be removed from the URL thus taking us to create a new article (For Yko Hikasa) instead of that actress page.

Here's the 2 original page of the example actress:

http://www.crunchyroll.com/library/Yoko_Hikasa
http://www.crunchyroll.com/library/Hikasa_Yoko

If you visit shows with that voice actress acted in, you won't be able to link back to her article.

http://www.crunchyroll.com/library/Keion_K_ON!
http://www.crunchyroll.com/library/K-ON!

Now, won't it be way better if the "ō" was working?

People complain about the strangest things. But I hope they do something for you.

Haha, I'm a web developer myself so I know what's best for the user experience. I'm sure that would come in handy for some users when fixed.
