Spoiler Alert! Click to show or hide sabzki wrote: With; Milk? Sugar...one lump or two? Do you drink it scalding hot or luke warm? I'm a tea addict and have been known to on occasion down atleast. 5 cups a day. And I don't mean in some dainty tea cups, I drink my tea in big gulp cups ;). I never take milk in my tea, the reason is as much to do with culture (Iranians drink their tea black) as it is to do with the fact that I hate milk and majority of derived dairy products. I also never mix sugar into my tea, instead I prefer to have something sweet accompany it like a biscuit/date/slice of cake etc. Again it's a cultural thing. I can never drink my teak scalding hot though, I just personally don't enjoy burning the roof of my mouth or tongue. Everyone else in my life seems to enjoy downing super heated liquid. So I'm curious to know how others like to have their tea? Oh and I did check to see if there was another forum like this and didn't find one. However if I was wrong just ignore this. I was wondering since you do not like diary products, so do you eat cake/biscuit that does not have milk in it. |

When I'm at home I can get through 10 or more mugs a day I kept count last time I was off work just to see, and I now think that the reason I get sleepy at work is because I'm not constantly topping up on caffeine.Anyway, I have mine with a small amount of milk, enough to make it a nice golden brown colour, and I let it cool a bit before drinking it (though I like it to still be hot.) |

Well when I was younger I used to not eat cakes even on my birthday now I just avoid any creamy cakes or cheese cakes. So here's the thing I don't like drinking milk ( that includes milk shakes), having butter or any kind of cheese. However I do love chocolate even knowing that it's made with milk, though I prefer dark chocolate. |

I <3 Tea!
I really like milk tea, but thats only if it is made that way already. If I'm served normal tea I don't go adding milk to it. I might put in a lemon depending on the type of tea. |

If they call China weak once more in this textbook I'm seriously going to quit.

Green only
how people can drink that horrible dairy, sugary, caffinated crap is beyond me! Tea was never meant to have milk in it, thousands of years ago they didn't make tea then squish a cow udder into it. Thats why people were way healthier back then and super fit. |

I've been drinking more coffee than anything lately. Double Double from Tim Hortons please!
For tea, it depends on what kind. I'm very specific about the brands, but I like a variety of tea. For the most part, though most chai teas are good. My Earl Grey must be twinings, 2 milk 2 sugar. Green tea I go with Jackson's of Piccadilly Sencha Green Tea with Mint (fairtrade tea ftw), 2 sugar, no milk. Orange Pekoe has to be Tetley's 2 milk 2 sugar. |

let's see, i like a lot of flavors but the only ones i can think of right now are earl gray and chamomile. i actually prefer coffee now so i don't drink it that often.
(i need the coffee to stay awake at school.) (my favorite coffee flavor consists of the flavors of all 5-6 different machines flavors. then i dump a bunch of sugar in after some half & half AND i'll tell you something THAT sure manages to keep my awake until class ends. ) anyway, i usually put a tiny bit of milk in it then like 4 spoonfuls of sugar. and i like mine hot. not a scalding hot where i go holy crap my tongue is numb though.but for some strange reason whenever it comes to tea i can't drink that much. i can only drink a medium sized cupful then it's hard to drink more, it just tastes gross afterwards... |

I try hemp milk, though I just do not like it. By any chance are you lactose intolerance. |
