Do you ever think GinTama crossed the line with any jokes?

The only issue where I've thought "Whoa, hang on, that's a bit tasteless" was Shinpachi's joke regarding Tomoko Matsushima being thrown to lions in chapter 100/ episode 25.

I mean, making a joke about an incident where someone could have been killed doesn't seem all that tasteful, in my opinion. That said, it's the only time I've ever felt GinTama crossed the line into 'potentially distasteful'.

Anyone else felt any jokes in the series potentially 'crossed a line', so to speak?

No. nothing crossd the line for me, not even the tomoko thing. I didn't even know who she is until i googled her, and i still don't care. Nobody seemed to mind the joke years ago, why should i be offended now?
On the other hand, if tomoko would have been killed by the lions(or the leopards later on) in kenya, and gintama still did the joke : that's crossing the line into "too soon" category. For me at least.

only instance was the one in I think somewhere around episode 208 (not sure, sorry) where they were just randomly swearing before the opening, it didn't "cross the line" but I found it desperate and just not funny.

But otherwise there was I think only one moment. In the manga, chapter 317.

Nothing ever offended me in Gintama, which is why I love it so much.
